Choi Yeojin walked into the conference room and the first thing that caught Yeonjun's eyes is her height.

She is tall, infact, quite tall for the average woman population in Korea. His eyes batted from top to bottom as if he were estimating her height like a computer. He reverts back to her profile shaking him off from checking her out. He confirms that she looks just as the photo that was attested in the resume. That's a thing too, he's had people impersonate but that's the next thing he had to look out for. Yeojin seats down the chair in front of his desk and places the remaining documents on the table.

He raises his eyes to look at her, but sees no signs of nervousness on her face. Not even a little bit. It seemed as if, he could tell her to leave and she would, without questioning it. It was refreshing sight in his cabin. Right from her entry, Yeonjun felt tingles, his body already giving him signs that she was the one. Well, he could always assume and those assumptions may or may not be true.

He sighs, before preparing himself to interview her. He was confident that she would be able to answer the questions well, the qualifications on her resume assured him that.

"Choi Yeojin. Tell me about yourself and the reason why you want to join our company."

His first question doesn't intimidate her. She takes a moment to answer.

"I quit my previous job due to the lack of accessibility. I moved to Seoul looking for my calling and found this company, which assured both my financial needs and work place demands", she replies. Her voice is soft unlike her sharp resting face. It's deeper and a bit lower but it adds to the right amount of charm.

"What is your definition of work place demands?", he asks her within the blink of an eye.

"Security, safety and flexibility", she answers instantly.

"What do you need flexibility for in our company?"

"Flexibility as in..being able to negotiate with certain drawbacks, technical drawbacks..unavoidable circumstances".

His questions were quick but she needed to be quicker. and he didn't seem to stop, he bowled another question right after that.

"Define technical drawbacks"

"Mismanagement...delay in submission, or..or conveying the wrong information..addressing an unavoidable error or a problem in a team project.."

"Okay", he keeps the papers aside and leans closer to table, resting his elbows on them.

"Tell me about your weaknesses", he asks her, his eyes focusing on her body language and nuances. But he keeps a neutral face, just so it doesn't intimidate her.

"I hold a lot of grudges", she answered, far from being intimidated by him, "And I tend to hyperfixate a lot"

"So, you can work for long hours without getting distracted", he asks her.

"Hmm, to an extent. If the work interests me and I'm motivated enough to do it", she confirms.

But it brings a smile on his face and almost a bitter sarcasm waves in his next set of words.

"If you can hyperfixate, it shouldn't matter if the work interests you or not", he smirked, and his words somehow managed to make her shift from his eyes to the ground as if her confidence was almost dropping. She doesn't argue, but listens.

"Tell me what projects have you worked on in your previous office, what positions have you assigned, what did you volunteer for", he scored seamlessly, convinced that she would have been shaken.

Yeojin feels the heat of the interview. She had heard so many rumors about this specific company having the hardest interviews and she could confirm why.

"I've worked on three projects as a team member and as a leader for one of them", she replied after a pause recalling. She was not the best at recalling the events in the past, she used to focusing on the present moment.

Yeojin battled depression since adolescence and never got proper assistance to deal with it. She grew up insecure and struggled to express herself. It was only until highschool that she shifted to a new campus, made close friends and began dressing up well. But her character remained. She never felt the weight of responsiblites on her shoulders, she took them very casually and parsed through them feeling detached.

"What did you learn from it?", he spurs.

"That I can take leadership roles..", she says as she lifts her head confidently.

"Excellent", he says, flipping the resume over to the next page. Yeojin prepares herself to face his next question.

"Tell me about your bad experiences", he asks after a few minutes, setting the paper aside and leans over the table with his chin resting on his arms. It throws her off guard. Instead of expecting something techincal and work related, he's asking about something personal.

She observes his smile lines creasing as his lips lifted. He was admiring her with his eyes.

"At..work?", she asks him confusedly.

"Anywhere", he says moving his head cutely, "I'll protect you from it next time"

Yeojin had not expected the interviewer to flirt with her. She delays her answer as she observes him for a moment, processing what he had just told her.

He raises up from his chair , instinctively stripping his blazer down to walk around the table and stood in front of her. He leaned behind against the table, clutching his blazer over his shoulder, his other hand in his pant pocket.

"We can take this slow", he said as he moved her eyes over her.
