He opened his eyes, he found himself lying at the bottom of the sewer, soaked in dirty water. The pain in his head throbbed, and his vision was blurry. Just as he was about to drift back into unconsciousness, a shadowy figure loomed over him.
"Yo, you alive, kid?" a gruff voice asked.
Kaiden blinked, trying to focus. Standing above him was a scruffy-looking man with a thick mustache and a greasy baseball cap that read "Luigi the Dude."
Kaiden tried to sit up but winced in pain. "Am I... dead?"
Luigi the Dude chuckled. "You were, kid. But you're lucky I came along. I got something that'll bring you back." He pulled a small vial from his pocket and, without waiting for permission, poured its contents into Kaiden's mouth.
Instantly, Kaiden's body jolted with a surge of energy. His eyes widened, and he leapt to his feet. "Woah, woah, woah, woah! This is so fricking awesome!" he shouted.
Luigi smirked. "That's the good stuff. Now get outta here before anyone sees us."
Kaiden nodded, still buzzing from whatever the drug dealer had given him. He climbed out of the manhole, feeling more alive than ever. As he emerged, he spotted Davey walking down the street.
"Davey!" Kaiden called out, running over to him. "You won't believe what just happened—I died!"
Davey stopped and stared at him, eyes wide. "What? Dude, are you serious?"
Kaiden nodded, grinning. "Yeah! Fr on god" They parted ways, and Kaiden headed home, still feeling the rush of his death experience. When he got home, he was surprised to see Konata standing at his front door, her eyes red as if she'd been crying.
"Kaiden," she said softly, "I'm sorry... for everything."
He looked at her, feeling a mix of emotions swirl inside him. Part of him wanted to forgive her, but the hurt was still fresh. He didn't say anything. Instead, he walked past her, heading straight to his bedroom.
Hours passed. Kaiden lay on his bed, staring at the ceiling, trying to make sense of everything. Just when he thought he might finally fall asleep, there was a knock on his bedroom door.
"Kaiden, it's me, Matt30," a familiar voice called out.
Kaiden groaned and sat up. "What do you want, Matt?"
Matt30 opened the door, grinning from ear to ear. "I just had to tell you, bro—I got a girlfriend!"
Kaiden raised an eyebrow. "Who?"
Matt30's grin widened. "Konata Lucky Star."
Kaiden's heart sank. He felt a rush of confusion, anger, and disbelief... His world got turned UPSIDE DOWN AGAIN....
