Soyeong forwards her hand for a handshake sunghoon accepts it.

I'm sunghoon.

She nods shyly.
Oh look Jake Aera is also here... I didn't notice.

Hmm..
She clearly did notice me....this girl is not how she looks I guess Jake's parents were right about her.
But Jake didn't bother to appreciate my existence.

Jake?You know Aera? Sunghoon asked.

Uh yeah kinda. And he started talking like I wasn't there at all. As for soyeong she was asking way too many questions to sunghoon which I found pretty annoying for real.
I was so done i was so uncomfortable ..since my existence was not appreciated I got up.

Excuse me for a second. And I just got up and left them. I was very much upset of his behavior even if he didn't wanted to introduce me as his fiance he could have acknowledged my existence for once but he didn't. As I was quickly making my way out I felt someone grab my hand.

Wait Aera? What happened? Are you okay?

Sunghoon just leave me. I just need some fresh air.

How do you know Jake?

Huh? What's should I tell him that his best friend is the fiance I've been talking about. Or should I lie to him which I don't wanna?

My Son Jake over there, pointing at Jake is soon getting married. We held a a very small family engagement for him and my daughter in law since we couldn't share that moment with you guys so I held this party to announce their marriage which will be in the coming month.JAKE and AERA please come forward.

By the looks of Sunghoon I guess he was surprised and shocked to hear this news. He looked at me pretty confused.

He just simle and nods at me. Gesturing me to go ahead.
I slowly walked towards Mr Sim and Jake who was already standing next to his father and I can tell you he's pissed. As soon as got to the stage... Mr Sim takes my hand and placed it on Jake's. I seriously didn't know what to do or how to react.
Isn't she beautiful said Mrs Sim said.
Everybody started clapping for us. And I see sunghoon at the corner gesturing me to calm down. I felt happy that he was there to calm me down and when I turned towards Jake his gaze was fixated on soyeong... who immediately ran out. Jake was about to run to her so I held his hand tight telling him this will not be the right time for him. But he slapped my hand away and went following soyeong. And now people were staring at me they saw what Jake just did.. I stood there for a minute feeling embarrassed...
Mr Sim called out for Jake but he didn't bother turning back.

I'm sorry, he had to take an emergency phone call. I said. everything went back to normal..but when I heard a group of people talking about me I felt so humiliated why.... Jake.... why do you have to treat me this way.... I didn't ask for any of this either..

I guess he doesn't like her so sad I feel bad for her did you see her?

How sad and pathetic knowing that the men you're going to marry doesn't give a shit about you.
