SFX : EXPLOSION

There was a sudden and unexpected explosion that reverberated through the air, causing both Vi and I to be violently thrown back by the force of it.

"Vi!!!" Powder's panicked voice pierced through the chaos.

"Vi, wake up," I groaned as I tightly gripped Vi's hand while we dangled precariously from a sturdy steel bar.

As Vi slowly regained consciousness, she gazed up at me with a bewildered expression, and soon, the others rushed to our aid, pulling both of us to safety onto the roof.

SFX : BLARING SIREN

Just as we caught our breath, the blaring sound of a horn echoed in the distance, signaling imminent danger.

"Shit," I muttered under my breath, feeling the weight of the situation pressing down on us.

"Stop right there!" An enforcer's authoritative voice boomed as we sprinted through the bustling street. In a swift motion, he hurled an object in our direction, but I managed to deftly dodge it with quick reflexes.

"Run faster!" I urged Vi as we raced towards the bridge, its massive structure looming before us. With sheer determination, we pushed ourselves to the limit, narrowly reaching the bridge before it began to rise.

In a heart-pounding moment, we hurriedly crossed the bridge before it ascended completely, cutting off our pursuers.

"This way!" Vi took the lead, guiding us into a narrow alleyway. With a sudden turn, she skillfully maneuvered through the labyrinthine path, deftly evading our would-be captors.

Vi swiftly broke a steam pipe, cloaking us in a veil of billowing steam, effectively obscuring our trail and granting us a fleeting moment of respite. In a stroke of ingenuity, she broke off a lid from a nearby garbage disposal, revealing a hidden passage that led us to The Underground.

As we descended into the darkness, Mylo glanced down and I kicked his behind, causing him to lose his footing and slide down with a comical yelp. "Y/N, you dick!" his voice trailed off as he descended into the unknown depths.

Claggor and Powder followed suit without a word, leaving only Vi and me standing at the precipice.

"Hey, Y/N," Vi's voice halted me as I prepared to slide down.

"What?" I inquired, curious about her sudden interruption.

"Thank you," she expressed with a genuine smile, her gratitude palpable as she clasped my hand before offering a warm smile.

"Now you sound more like a lady," I teased, prompting a kick from Vi as she propelled me towards the disposal chute. I landed squarely on my rear, gazing up at her as she gracefully landed on my shoulders.

"Thanks," she patted me on the shoulder before rising to her feet, her laughter ringing in the dimly lit passage.

"Ow," I groaned playfully, joining in her amusement as we readied ourselves to continue our journey through the treacherous underworld.

Milo grumbled, "Thought the last time was the last time we were gonna do this."

"Well, this time's the last time," Vi asserted with unwavering determination, extending a helping hand to assist me in standing.

"Guys, what was that? What the hell happened back there?" Claggor inquired, his voice tinged with a hint of concern and confusion.

We all turned to Powder for answers, but she simply shrugged, claiming, "I don't know. I didn't do anything," her defensive tone betraying a sense of innocence amidst the chaos.
