The weekend arrived with a pleasant warmth, perfect for relaxation and enjoying each other's company.
Tsukishima's house was quiet, with his parents away for the day, leaving him and Kageyama free to spend their time however they pleased.

The two of them were lounging on Tsukishima's bed, surrounded by a scattered assortment of snacks and comic books. Kageyama had taken to reading over Tsukishima's shoulder, occasionally glancing up to comment on the storyline or tease him about his taste in comics.

"Seriously, Tsukishima, do you ever read anything that's not about super-powered teenagers?" Kageyama asked, nudging Tsukishima playfully.

Tsukishima glanced up from his book, raising an eyebrow. "I'll have you know that this 'super-powered teenager' is a very complex character. He's deeply misunderstood."

Kageyama snorted. "Yeah, deeply misunderstood by anyone who isn't into over-the-top action scenes and endless monologues."

Tsukishima smirked, closing his book and tossing it onto the pile of others. "Well, I suppose I could be persuaded to read something else... if you have any recommendations."

Kageyama grinned, leaning in closer. "How about something with a little more romance? I've heard you're a fan of those fluffy stories."

Tsukishima's cheeks flushed slightly, and he shifted uncomfortably. "I'll have you know I only read those for the plot."

Kageyama chuckled, enjoying the way Tsukishima's usual aloofness melted away in moments like these. "Sure, sure. And I suppose you also only eat chocolate for its health benefits?"

Tsukishima rolled his eyes but couldn't suppress a smile. "You're impossible, you know that?"

Kageyama's smile widened. "And you're just as bad. How about we put on a movie or something? I'm in the mood for some serious relaxation."

Tsukishima reluctantly agreed, getting up to find the remote while Kageyama made himself comfortable on the bed. They settled in, the movie playing softly in the background as they continued their light-hearted banter.

As the film progressed, Kageyama found himself drifting closer to Tsukishima. He was casually resting his head on Tsukishima's shoulder, a comfortable silence enveloping them. Tsukishima seemed to enjoy the closeness, his hand resting lightly on Kageyama's side.

"Hey, Tsukishima," Kageyama said, his voice a soft murmur. "Do you ever think about what it would be like if we went on a real date? Like, one of those classic dinner-and-a-movie types?"

Tsukishima's fingers absently traced patterns on Kageyama's arm. "I think it would be pretty nice. Although I have to admit, it sounds kind of cliché."

Kageyama looked up, a teasing glint in his eyes. "Cliché, maybe. But sometimes clichés are nice. And it would be fun to see you try to act all suave and charming."

Tsukishima chuckled softly. "I'm not sure if I can pull off 'suave' and 'charming,' but I'll give it a try if you really want."

Kageyama smiled, his eyes sparkling with affection. "I'd love to see that. And besides, it sounds like a good excuse for us to spend even more time together."

Tsukishima's expression softened, and he leaned in closer, brushing his lips lightly against Kageyama's temple. "I'm not complaining. Spending time with you is one of my favorite things."

Kageyama's heart skipped a beat at the affectionate gesture, and he snuggled closer, enjoying the warmth of Tsukishima's embrace. "Me too. You know, I never thought I'd be so comfortable with someone. But with you... it just feels right."

Tsukishima's hand moved to gently cup Kageyama's cheek, turning his face to meet his gaze. "I feel the same way. It's like... like everything falls into place when we're together."

Their eyes locked, and the world outside seemed to fade away. The intimacy of the moment was profound, filled with unspoken understanding and deep affection. Tsukishima's thumb brushed across Kageyama's cheek, and Kageyama leaned into the touch, closing his eyes for a moment.

The movie continued to play in the background, but neither of them paid much attention to it. Instead, they were wrapped up in their own world, savoring the quiet connection they shared.

"Tsukishima," Kageyama said softly, breaking the silence. "Can I ask you something?"

Tsukishima looked at him, his gaze tender. "Of course. What is it?"

Kageyama hesitated, searching for the right words. "Do you ever get... scared? Scared of how strong your feelings are? I mean, I know I do. Sometimes, I'm not sure how to handle it."

Tsukishima's expression grew thoughtful. "Yeah, I get that. It's like... everything is so intense, and it's hard to know what to do with it. But I think it's okay to feel that way. It means something real is happening."

Kageyama nodded, feeling reassured by Tsukishima's words. "I guess so. I just... I never expected to feel this way. It's like being on a rollercoaster, and I'm not sure where the ride is going to end."

Tsukishima smiled, his hand resting gently on Kageyama's shoulder. "Well, if you're on the rollercoaster, at least you're not alone. I'm right here with you."

Kageyama's heart swelled at the reassurance. He leaned in, his forehead resting lightly against Tsukishima's. "Thanks. I'm glad you're here."

Tsukishima's lips curled into a soft smile, and he gently pulled Kageyama into his lap, their bodies aligning comfortably. The sudden closeness made Kageyama's heart race, but he found the position comforting and intimate. Tsukishima's arms wrapped around him, creating a secure embrace.

As they settled into the new position, Tsukishima's gaze softened further. "I've wanted to do this for a while," he murmured, his breath warm against Kageyama's ear. "Hold you close like this."

Kageyama's cheeks flushed slightly, but he didn't pull away. Instead, he relaxed into Tsukishima's lap, feeling the steady beat of his heart. "I'm glad you did."

Tsukishima's fingers gently traced along Kageyama's arm, sending shivers down his spine. He leaned in and pressed a tender kiss to Kageyama's temple, his lips lingering just a moment longer than necessary. The intimacy of the kiss was electric, sending a rush of warmth through Kageyama.

Kageyama looked up, his eyes meeting Tsukishima's with a mix of wonder and affection. Tsukishima's eyes sparkled with something close to vulnerability, and Kageyama couldn't help but smile, feeling a deep connection between them.

Their gazes locked, and Tsukishima's hand gently cupped Kageyama's face, his thumb brushing against his cheek. Kageyama's heart pounded as Tsukishima leaned in, capturing his lips in a slow, sensual kiss. The kiss was a blend of tenderness and passion, a silent confession of their feelings for each other.

When they finally broke apart, both were breathless, their faces flushed with emotion. Tsukishima's fingers continued to trace gentle patterns on Kageyama's skin, creating a soothing sensation. Kageyama's hands rested on Tsukishima's chest, feeling the steady rhythm of his heartbeat.

"I think," Tsukishima murmured, his voice barely above a whisper, "that we're really onto something special here."

Kageyama's eyes shone with affection as he nodded. "I agree. This... this feels like home."

They spent the rest of the afternoon wrapped up in each other's arms, talking softly, laughing, and savoring the simple joy of being together. The quiet intimacy of the moment was a perfect blend of tenderness, affection, and a touch of playful teasing.
