"Alright people...let's do this one last time."

"My name is Y/n L/n. I got bitten by a radioactive spider, and for the past ___ years; I've been the one and only...spiderwoman. I think you know the rest."

"I was encouraged to become a hero by the honorable Ironman himself...I became an avenger, fought villains, saved countless lives. Even blipped for five years..."

"I...couldn't save my Aunt"

"And after Mysterio revealed my identity to the world, the only way to undo my mistake of trusting him was to erase Y/n L/n from everyone's memory. My lover, best friend(s)..."

"I lost everyone."

"One day, this guy showed up, named Miguel O Hara. He was Spider-Man in his universe. I guess you could say he recruited me, and I met a bunch of other spider people. I made friends with these other misfits; Gwen, miles, hobie, and Pav."

"So I stopped Really hanging around my universe so much. The only reason I ever really went back is because of one person. Can you guess? Wade Wilson, also known as Deadpool. He was the only person actually close to SpiderWoman. As annoying as he is, he's nice. For an Anti-Hero."

"I guess, now that everyone's forgotten Y/n
L/n..."

"I've been trying to forget about her too."

"Yeah....Run it by me again?"

Spiderwoman and Deadpool were sitting on the edge of the Empire State Building. How did deadpool get up there you may ask? Well, let's just say if it wasn't for your healing factor/spider healing, your back would be tired from carrying him and swinging yourself up there.

"I already told you. I've been going on more missions throughout the Spiderverse. I've explained this to many times deadpool."

You said with a sigh, looking out to the dark view of your beloved city, the building and car lights from down below illuminating little flickering sparks through the night and roads. Deadpool's mask was folded up a bit past his nose, as he ate a panini. He kicked his feet like a child, not seeming to have any worry in the world.

"I don't get why you have to do all the stuff so much Spidey. Don't you have enough stuff to do here, even as a civilian?"

Deadpool asked with his usual cheeky smile. Knowing deadpool, that could've been a subtle jab of what happened to you around six months ago with doctor strange's spell. But deadpool didn't actual know the truth of no one remembering your identity; he himself didn't even remember. He was genuinely asking an innocent question.

You gave him a small glare through your mask, your body language clearly showing uninterest to this conversation. You shook your head, looking away. "I don't have time for civilian things."

Deadpool shrugged, taking another bite out of his panini; his mouth filled with the sandwich as he spoke. "Evef I take a breaf from merfenary shuff shumchimes. But you juf keep running off to ofer uniferses. I'm getting lonely wif out you ya know!"

He gulped, looking back at you with a grin again. "C'mon. You seriously have nothing to keep you here? No friends or family?" He leaned in closer with a growing smug face.
"Not even me, Spidey?"

You rolled your eyes and put your hand on his face to push him back away, causing him to laugh to himself. "I'm too busy. Besides, it's not like I'm the only hero here. This universe has the avengers to help them if they ever need it."

Deadpool nodded slowly, looking away back to the view while still kicking his feet. "Hey, how come you can know my identity when I can't know yours?" Y/n's hand ran over her masked face. "This again?"

Deadpool's hands rose in defense as he spoke.
"I'm serious! You know me but I don't know you. Totally unfair you know!" He took another bite out of his panini as you looked down at the roads below. The cold night air brushing against your suit gently. You knew it was unfair. And you did actually want to tell him. But what if something went wrong again?

'You're the only person I have here left, Wade. I can't loose you too.'

Your dimensional travel watch beeped, noticing Miguel was trying to contact you. You stood up, walking over to the other side of the Empire State roof to see what Miguel was contacting you over. It wasn't uncommon for you to be called for the most. It was known in the Spiderverse lobby that you didn't really stick around your universe that much for personal reasons. Besides, you were Miguel's favorite.

"Hello?"

"Ah, finalmente Y/n. ya era hora."

Miguel's voice called from the orange glowing screen on your watch. 'Finally Y/n, it's about time.' You we're also fluent in Spanish, speaking it as you grew up learning it from your Aunt. Maybe that's why you were Miguel's favorite. (Not to mention, you are incredibly good at science/academics. You helped improve the watches.)

"I have a new mission for you. In earth 268156."

Miguel went on to talk about your new mission, how it needed to be started immediately. You nod, turning off your watch unbeknownst to you, a certain red suit panini eating guy had snuck up behind you. "SPIDEY!" You flinched, nearly turning around to punch him in the face. You grumbled seeing it was just deadpool, he catches your fist with a laugh.

"Was that your boss again? God, why do you always have to leave?"

You pressed a few buttons on the watch, grabbing the attention of Deadpool. "It's important." Deadpool's eyes didn't tear away from the watch. "Yeah, yeah, it's always important- hey, how does this work?"
He swiftly yoinked the watch from your wrist, inspecting it in his hands. "Hey!"

You tried to get it back, but deadpool always twisted his body away from yours. "Ooh..so these buttons are the ones that you put in the universe numbers right? And then it opens a portal there?" You furrowed your eyebrows under the mask, growing slightly annoyed by the second. Even if it was usual deadpool behavior.

You tried to grab it from him, but he was resistant while pushing a few random buttons. While this little game of 'innocent' tug of war went on, you were getting closer to the edge off of the Empire State Building. Your foot slipped, and with a squeak of surprise you fell back off of the roof, off the building completely. As soon as deadpool noticed this, he didn't hesitate to jump after you trying to grab you.

He managed to catch up to you, both falling to basically your deaths. While you tried reaching out for him back, you grabbed his wrist, while also clicking a button on the watch in the process. The 'enter' button. Since deadpool had entered in a bunch of numbers on the screen before, the watch was now activating a portal to a completely random universe.

Your bodies entangled, both holding onto each other tightly as the glowing orange-purple portal opened below you. Before you could ask Friday to activate a parachute, you both fell in head first into the portal; leaving your universe, and entering a new one.
