AT THE HOSPITAL

CHAPTER 10

The doctor stepped in, Stephanie is already awake while Lilian her mother is sleeping on the sofa
Good day MR Lucien he greeted he turned to Lilian but withold his greetings bcuz he saw she's sleeping and snoring so loud . He turned to Lucien who just responded to his greetings he narrowed his gaze at Stephanie and checked her body temperature,she's getting better he assured.
Thank u doctor "Mandel" Lucien said before staring at Stephanie who has just wake up from her sleep.
The doctor walked out of the room to check all other patients in Thier several hospital rooms .
How are u doing?? Lucien asked
I'm great daddy!!  she replied sluggish after yawning so wide ,she returned her head gently on the pillow and closed her eyes .
"Steph" he called aren't u hungry??
Yea dad I'm so famished she said
I told Lilian that when Steph is hungry she'll admit he said in his mind and his thoughts reflected on his face.
Dad are u okai?? Stephanie was concerned. Yes my darling I'm fine he said and brought out the flask of food and get it for Steph.
She could not hold a spoon because of the drip on her hand ,so Lucien her dad offered to feed her and she ate a little
***A DAY IN ALEX HOUSE***
Bye Alex!! Jane said before leaving the car ,she stepped into her home and hold the knob to open the door. She look back once more and stare as Alex car drove away . She opened the door and walked straight to the kitchen after dropping all she shopped in the parlor sofa
She opened the pots and find nothing in them ooh damn it!! I'm not just famished but tired I can't cook . How will I do this?? She thought. Maybe ill take juice and cheese she walked to the refrigerator opened it and get some chilled yoghurts drink and cheese,she poured the drink into the glass cup to her satisfaction. She ate till her belly was filled-up
Where on earth are my keys?? My room is locked up and there are no keys ,Jane tumbled her bag and searched carefully but still could not find her keys . She walked to the rooms in the four corners of the house and they were all locked.
She took her phone from the hand bag and dialed Alex number it rang but he did not reply , she was left with no option than going to Alex home to spend the night . Jane boarded a taxi down to Alex home ,she and the cab man both chatted until she finally arrived at Alex home . She found the door opened so Jane barged in the living room,this was unlike Alex he often lock up his entrance door but it's opened today she thought. Jane knew that Alex always had her favorite snacks  stock in his fridge so she cared less where he was at the moment and moved to the kitchen.
Are my eyes deceiving me?? She used her scarf to clean her eyes but the sight was still same.TINA she screamed!! What are u doing in my man's house . Tina turned to see who's  voice was dat because she never notice the presence of someone.
What the fuck are u saying? She returned the question at Jane.
Jane squinted an eye on her and moved close to her pointing to her face stay away from Alex he is my man!! Am sorry to disappoint u girlfriend,Alex has been my man for 4yrs if u don't mind excuse me let me check what I'm cooking.
Jane drew her back with her hands ,her hair covered her face but she drew it back with her hands
What do u think u are doing girl?? Tina questiones Jane . She did not reply ! What about Andy? D guy u introduced me to isn't he good enough for u?? don't he have all it takes in a guy?? Why are u flirting around with people's men Jane yelled.
Girl friend I can't stay with just a man ,no I can't my eyes are searching for men not a man. Get that into your dumb skull she cursed and moved to check on the pot . Jane stood motionlessly tears rolled down her eyes .
Babe the food is ready , she heared Tina talked while she stepped outta the door. Jane sat down on the balcony and was weeping uncontrollably
Babe Tina called once again!! U're food is ready come to the dinning let's eat together,in no time Alex was down the stairs and sat on the dinning chair. Was anyone here today?? he asked Tina ,No one was here do you see anyone?? She questioned No I just perceived a different perf of someone I know , she smiled at him. Let's eat she said . They both ate together and throw jokes at each other.
AT THE HOSPITAL

Lilian had wake up from her sleep . While Stephanie and Lucien were still sleeping. She could recall morrin have not step into the hospital room she wondered where she would be at this time of the day.
She walked around the hospital in search of morrin, she finally see morrin still crying and sobbing loudly in the balcony.
She bent low to morrin and consoled her. Don't cry anymore I didn't mean to hurt u I was only angered since u didn't provide Stephanie's food at the right time when she was feeling hungry but it's fine GET Up she said and helped morrin get to her feet.
Thank u ma'am morrin said after wiping the tears off her face , your face are already swollen please cry no more she wiped the tears off her face once more .
They both head to the hospital room.
