Detective Conan: Samurai's heroic legend.

Part 4 - Kotomi's tragic story.

After the police arrived at the hotel, they are discussing about Conan's kidnapping case. Everyone is here but except for Kotomi and Kazuha.

" So Hattori, when did this happened? " Inspector Megure said.

" During 7 am to 8 am, we're having dinner at the dining area. And Conan said that he needs to go to the toilet, but then, Kotomi need to go to the toilet as well. And that's what she saw that Conan got kidnapped by two men in a black uniform. " Heiji said.

" I see. " Inspector Megure said.

" Kotomi called me immediately and tried to save him, but we're too late... " Heiji said upsetting.

" What?! You said that kid was kidnapped?! " Kogoro shouted.

" I'm afraid yes... " Heiji said.

" No... Conan-kun... " Ayumi said, she began to cry as she's worried about Conan. Mitsuhiko tried to confront her, but began to tear up, even for Genta.

" He'll be alright, I'm promised. Hopefully we can find a way to save him! " Mitsuhiko said while tearing up.

Ai is very worried about Conan as well, but she couldn't say anything.

" Ai-chan... You're alright? " Ran said.

Ai looked at Ran, but she was concerned by Ran's reaction.

" You... You're alright? " Ai said.

" Don't worry Ran, police will save him. Somehow... " Sonoko said, but she's worried about Ran.

" So Hattori, do you have any information about them? " Inspector Saito said.

" According to Kotomi, they're members of an organisation. And she knows everything about them. " Heiji said.

" An organisation you say? Then, we should have a talk to Kotomi... " Inspector Saito said.

" Inspector... It's really hard to say that she's not in a mood to talk about it... " Heiji said.

" So, you mean... " Dr Agasa said.

Hattori closed his eyes, because he feels bad for Kotomi because....

" Doctor, everyone... I guess I have to you everything about her... If Kotomi doesn't want to say that, then I will... " Heiji said.

" So, you know everything about that girl? " Inspector Megure said.

" Yes, even since Kazuha decided to taking care of her, and asking me for help and let me know everything about that organisation. She only told me and Kazuha about that... " Heiji said.

The Inspectors are concerned after what Heiji said. As a hard decision, Heiji shows a badge from his pocket.

" See this? It's not just an ordinary badge... " Heiji said, then he clicked the button and it turned out a UBS flash drive.

" This badge is Kotomi's, but it has a camera and a USB flash drive... This badge is created by her former caretaker who is an expert of a futuristic engineering... " Heiji said.

" Her... Former caretaker?! " Dr Agasa said.

Heiji gives the USB flash drive to the Inspector to watch the images. Showing everything about Kotomi.

" Kotomi's parents died when she was born, but her grandparents cruelly kicked her out after that... Because of this, she and her sister Kaede forced to live in the streets as they don't have other relatives to take care of them. Until a kind professor saw them, and taking them home, and he adopted them to taking care of them. But until that day... "

The image shows that the professor's house gets attacked by some members of the organisation, ans he gets shot to death. Everything in the place is covered in fire, Kotomi and Kaede are running away from them.

" An organisation who kidnapped Conan attacked Kotomi's home place, Kotomi is only one who survived in this situation, but her sister... " Heiji said.

And it shows that Kotomi in safe place in a rock hill, Kaede is climbing the get on from another hill. However, the organisation grabbed Kaede... And they brutally throw her off from cliff and falls to the death. Kotomi saw everything and was desperate to see her sister's death.

" Her sister died because of them, Kotomi was very heartbreaking after that... But... Kaede is only just a kid... Who's 14 years old... " Heiji said.

Everyone was shocked after that, Ran and others couldn't believe that everything happened to Kotomi...

" No... Way... " Ran whispers...

" Kotomi couldn't forgive them after everyone they did, destroyed her lovely home and killed her loved ones. And she's worried that Conan... " Heiji said, but he's getting worried for Conan...

" Thank you for explaining Hattori... But, we'll figure out where their base are and save Conan-kun... " Inspector Saito said. 

Meanwhile for Kazuha and Kotomi, Kotomi falls asleep in Kazuha's knee, she feels comfortable now. Ran, Sonoko and the Detective boys entered the room.

" Ran-chan! " Kazuha said.

" How is she, Kazuha? " Sonoko said.

" She's better now, but now falling asleep... " Kazuha said.

Ayumi came closer to Kotomi, she's tearing up...

" Kotomi-chan... " Ayumi whispers. " I'm sorry that... This happened to you... " She started to cry quietly and put her hand to her eyes.

Mitsuhiko and Genta came to Ayumi and cheer her up.

" Don't worry, I'm sure the police will save Conan-kun... " Mitsuhiko whispers

" So, Heiji explain everything about her isn't it? " Kazuha said. " By the way, Ran-chan. Are you alright? "

" I'm fine... But... I need some space... " Ran said.

She goes away, Sonoko and Kazuha are worried about her. At the attic, Ran is watching the stars alone.

" Conan-kun... Where are you? I'm very worried about you after you got kidnapped... I... I hope you're alright... " Ran through, and she began to cry.

But, a masked boy come closer to Ran.

" You know... I can understand how do you feel, Onee-san... " A masked boy said.

Ran noticed him and got concerned.

" Huh?! What are doing here all by yourself, little boy? " Ran said.

" I heard what happened, and I'm sorry that you have to go through that... " A masked boy said.

" So... You heard the conversation this whole time? " Ran said.

" However, I prepared the plan to save him... " A masked boy said.

" Wait, but how?! " Ran shouted.

" Don't judge me just because I'm a kid, I also know everything about that organisation. It's not only just me, I have a special team. " A masked boy said.

" So, who are you? " Ran said.

" Shirogane Ryosuke, the future... Heroic Samurai... " Ryosuke said.

Ran was concerned.

" Tomorrow morning, we'll take down the organisation's leader... " Ryosuke said.

After saying that, he walks away. Ran is so confused about the boy...

" Why that boy is wearing a kitsune mask? " Ran though.

At Ryosuke's room, he's talking someone on the phone.

" Alright, here's my suggestion. Distract the members, save the prisoners and bring the leader down... " Ryosuke said. " Tomorrow, your reign of terror is ending... Kuroi... "
