As Divya stepped out of the airport, the warm Mumbai air enveloped her, thick with the smells of street food and honking horns. She gazed around, awestruck by the towering skyscrapers and glittering lights that seemed to stretch on forever.
"Welcome to Mumbai," a taxi driver called out, eyeing her luggage.
Divya nodded, still taking in the sights. "How much to Andheri?"
The driver named the price and Divya agreed, exhausted from her delayed flight. As they sped through the city, she marveled at the sheer energy of Mumbai. It was a far cry from her quiet village.
But her wonder was tempered by frustration. If only her flight hadn't been delayed, she would have arrived hours ago. Now, she was exhausted and anxious about her first day at college tomorrow.
The taxi driver stopped suddenly as he spoke "madam sorry but I can't take you from Here, the petrol is finished and it will take some hours I suggest you to walk by from here as its late night and andheri is not so far you will get a cab"
Divya anxiously calmed herself and got off the ride and spoke "umm bhaiya could you tell me how can I book a ride or cab"
The driver sense immediately she was new to the mumbai and the modesty as he guided her through phone on app of booking rides "once again sorry madam but pls keep walking and Don't just stand its dangerous at here"
She nod thanking him and picked up her luggage walking in the dim lights of highway, she was at dark highway route walking on side path as she waited for her cab
