It was going to be my first year at Hogwarts in year 3. As it was Harry Potter's third year, the boy who lived. All my life I had been neglected by my father, Severus Snape, living in his shadow. No one knew I even existed. It took so long for me to get to Hogwarts because for some odd reason, he didn't want me there the first two years of Potter's arrival, due to the danger. Don't get it twisted, my father loves me, he just doesn't know how to. He's never known love between family as he's never had one. The only love he's ever known, he never tells me about.I had long black hair that framed my face perfectly. And the most vibrant green eyes, the black hair only makes them stand out more. I had smooth skin with tiny freckles all around my nose and cheeks. My features were soft and feminine. But I also had the ability to look malicious and a dark beauty.
My father had sent me a letter, telling me it was time to come to Hogwarts. I had been living on my own for quite some time. I have taught myself everything I know, even taught myself French. I grabbed my ticket for 9 3/4. I got on the train and found an open spot to sit with no one in it. I grabbed my father's letter and ran my hand over it, feeling the material of the parchment. I couldn't wait to see my father, I loved him of course, I didn't know any better.
All of a sudden, I heard a name. A name I knew, a name I studied. Potter. It was said in an aggressive manner. I peeped my head out of the door to see Harry Potter himself.
He had a distressed look on his face. I followed his blue eyes to a blonde that was on the other side of the door. He was wearing a black suit and was smirking at Potter, holding sweets from the Trolly like it was some prize. It took me a millisecond of seeing the blonde's expression to know it was a Malfoy. I heard all about this family and knew to stay away.
Once Draco had snapped out of his smirk, he glanced at me.
"Are you done making a scene?" I said plainly.
"What's your issue?" Draco looked up and down at me, not knowing who I was.
"Noisy girl." he mumbled as he scoffed and walked away.
"Sorry about that, Malfoy doesn't know when to shut up." said Harry, giving a genuine smile.
"I'm Cassia." I said softly grinning.
"I'm Harry-"
"Potter, yes, I know." I sort of chuckled. He probably gets that all the time.
Harry just smiled before turning around and grabbing what he originally was grabbing from the Trolly, before Draco had snatched it from him prior. I headed back into my seat by the window and enjoyed the beautiful view. The weather started to get rainy and cloudy. I sat there amazed at how the weather changed, thinking it was just a part of the Hogwarts magic.
It suddenly started to get very cold. The door opened in one swift motion and a blonde girl jumped through, closing and locking the door. She took a breath before turning around and screaming at the sight of me, not expecting to see me.
"Merlin! You scared me!" The girl spoke, she was holding her hand to her heart, as if she was seeing how much her heart was beating from the scare.
"I'm so sorry," I paused, "what's going on out there?".
"Not sure, I was going to the bathroom when it started getting dark, this was the closest room. I didn't see if there was anyone in it or not, don't apologize." The blonde spoke.
The room started getting darker and colder. We both sat down next to the window, looking out of it like it had the answer. Then complete silence. It was now night outside and the temperature started going back up.
