Note: "OKAY from this chapter on red and chloe are back in the present after saving the queen of hearts and are now at school in Aurodan."

Red's perspective:

Me and Chloe asked Principal Uma if we could be in the same dorm room a week before getting it assigned, so we were super happy to find out she was kind enough to put us in the same room.

As we enter, Chloe starts jumping up and down from excitement: "YAY!! Hearts, I can't believe she actually listened to us, I wouldn't know what to do without you!" she cheeres.

Her cuteness always makes me giggle.
"Honestly, I don't know what I'd do without you either, Princess."

"Come on! Let's get to unpacking" she takes my hand and pulls me into the room.

"Ughhh I hate unpacking....but I guess..." I flirtatiously look at her. "It is more fun with you."

"Haha is that right?" Chloe flirts back.

I nod as I unzip my suitcase, acting like I'm not flustered by her flirting back since I didn't expect it. While I put my clothes into my closet she starts giggling.

"What!!?"

"Let me guess, the stuff you brought consist 90% of red clothes and 10% of black clothes BAHAHA"

"Actually! 80% red and 20% black"
I jokingly explain. Chloe bursts out laughing.

"right, right my bad"

"Since I brought some black dresses for special acacions.." I add, this time in a serious tone.

She gaspes: "I didn't think that was your style!"

"Haha who said it wasn't?"

"Point taken. I'm sure you'll look great. I can't wait to see you in one."

I look over to her. "Thanks! I'm excited to see you in a dress as well."

We both smirk as we share eye contact for a while before continuing to take out our clothes from our suitcases.

Why does she make me feel this way? I feel...euphoric almost. My face feels warm, and
my body is tingly. This must be what love feels like, which I'm not really familiar with.
How can I ask her to be my girlfriend?? Or should I? Or is it just obvious that we are together. Since I'm new to this relationship stuff, I wish I could ask someone for advice, but who?

"Hey, we've been at this for an hour now. I think we should take a break. I'm heading to the cafeteria for a snack, want something?" Chloe ripps me out of my thoughts.

"Ohhh you're right. How about a coffee?" I suggest.

"Of course, something to eat? I'm getting hungry."

"Sure, maybe a sandwich." I respond.

She nods: "Alrighty be right back!"

"Thanks, princess" I say before she heads out.

I'm not used to acts of kindness. Let alone having to adjust to my mom being nice now has been...exceptional.

Also, is it just me, or is Chloe even happier than usual?
