The reader is in a difficult situation and asks to temporarily spend some time at their friend's house.

Maka-
She was doing some studying when he heard a loud knock on her door. When she went to answer it, she saw you standing on the porch, drenched due to the rain; she immediately invited you in and asked what happened, removing your coat and preparing you some coffee/tea.
She would be very quiet and understanding while she listened, and she would allow you to stay for a few nights while helping you figure things out. If her dad asks, then she'll just tell him the truth, that you have nowhere else to go.

Soul-
It was the middle of the night, and he was just about to sleep when he thought he heard knocking. He wearily approached the door to see you standing on his porch, immediately setting off alarms in his head. You never came over in the middle of the night, and if you did, you would have told him beforehand. He asked what you were doing there, and you asked to crash at his place for a few days while some issues were resolved. He shrugged and said, "Sure," letting you in but also making sure to ask more questions.
He noticed that you hadn't brought a bag or a coat or anything, and you explained that you had no time to get them. He was silent for a moment and said that you're free to sleep on his couch for as long as you need, and he'll try to help you.

Black Star-
He was awoken at midnight to banging on his door, and he was on high alert. He swung the door open, ready to face the threat, only to see you standing on the porch, crying. You never cry in front of him.
His brows furrowed, and he let you in, asking what you were doing and what's wrong. You explained your situation and asked if you could stay with him for a while. Normally, he'd be overjoyed at you asking to stay at his house, but this was clearly an unpleasant situation for you to be in, so he remained serious.
He said that you could stay with him for as long as you needed.

Tsubaki-
She had awoken early on a Saturday morning to make some breakfast and heard knocking on her door. When she opened it, she was horrified at the sight of you. You were an absolute mess, and it was clear that something had happened. She allowed you in, brought you some clothes, and when you returned from your shower, she sat you down with some food and asked what happened. You were nervous, and she tried her best to calm you down, and she understood the basics of what was going on.
She said that you could stay with her for as long as you needed and to just call her if you needed anything.

Kid-
He was awoken harshly by banging on his door. It was midnight, so he was especially anxious. He prepared himself for an attack and opened the door, only to be shocked when he saw you. He noticed that you seemed shaken up, and he asked what was wrong and why you were banging on his door, surprised when you responded that you didn't know where else to go.
He invited you in and asked you to explain things, and so you did, and he was silent for quite some time. When you were done explaining, he said that you could stay with him, but that you definitely needed some new clothes because the ones you were wearing were dirty and asymmetrical.

Liz-
The two of you were walking through town when you said that you needed to talk to her, immediately catching her attention. She brought you to a secluded place and asked what you needed to tell her, and you explained your situation, asking if it was okay if you stayed with her for a bit. She was quiet and understanding - her and her sister's home life was terrible before they met Kid, and so she could relate to you.
She said that she needed to talk to Kid, but that she'd do everything she could to ensure that you had a safe place to stay for a while.

Patty-
She was hanging out with you and noticed that something seemed off. You seemed very upset about something, and you had a bag with you. She asked you if you were okay, and when you started to cry, she freaked out. You told her that you needed a place to stay and you don't know where you could find one, and she seemed deep in thought for a minute before smiling; she said that you're staying with her and that she won't take no for an answer.

Spirit-
In this scenario, your house gets destroyed by a monster.

He was staying up late, worrying about the whole fiasco with the kishin(this takes place after his and Stein's first fight with Medusa) when he heard a knock on his door. He anxiously approached, swinging open the door, but froze when he saw you anxiously standing on his porch. He asked what was wrong, and you sheepishly admitted that your house got destroyed by a monster before turning to him and asking if you could stay with him for a few days. He seemed oddly calm as he allowed you inside and asked more questions like how long you intended to stay and what you brought with you. He said that he would help you find a new place soon, but that he was busy, so you could sleep on the couch for now.
He ended up researching recent monster attacks for the area you lived and saw that it wasn't something like a werewolf but a freaking dragon.
He checked on you a lot after that.

Stein-
This is the same situation as Spirit's, with the dragon attacking your house.

He was up late doing his usual research and whatnot when his phone started to ring. Curious, he answered it and was taken aback when he heard your panicked voice on the other end. He could tell that you were running, and he stood up, asking what was going on. You explained that something bad had happened and that you couldn't return home, and just told him to tell everyone that you loved them.
He shut that down really quick and asked where you were, rushing outside to find you.
When he did find you, he held you close and calmed you down. It took a while, but he began to bring you to his lab, calmly saying that you were going to be okay. He was silent as you explained that your house got burned down by a dragon and that you had to run, unsure whether or not to believe you, but then did a double take and saw that your clothes were damaged and that you even had some burns on your arms and legs; he sat you down in his lab and patched you up, asking if you had anything left and if you had anywhere else to go.
When you responded that you had nothing and that you didn't, he said that you should stay with him until everything had gotten figured out.

Later, he jokingly admitted that when you called him, he thought that you were in a completely different situation but did not elaborate.

Death-
He was as happy as usual when you arrived to say hello to him, but quickly grew concerned as you seemed troubled about something. He sat you down and asked you what was wrong, and he was very quiet as you explained your situation to him. He was surprised when you asked if you could stay with him, as you had nowhere else to go, but he readily agreed.

Crona-
We're going to say that you ask to live in their cell with them because there's no way you want to live with Medusa.

They noticed that you seemed upset and deep in thought about something while you were hanging out, but they didn't want to be rude and call you out on it - they have bad days, too. Eventually, they realized that it was something else and asked if you were okay, surprised when you broke down and said that you can't go back home to your mother(Arachne) and that there was nowhere else for you to go. You asked if it would be okay for you to stay with them in their cell for a while, and they nervously agreed.
They were just incredibly stunned because they never saw you upset before, so it was very concerning for them.
