Maka-
She'd be very happy, but confused. She'd ask what the occasion was, and then try to surprise you back.
Soul-
He'd wonder why you're giving him something, but he would be grateful. He might toss you a soda or something later.
Black Star-
He'd be extremely happy, yet confused, wondering why you were giving him something out of the blue. Once he realizes that you just wanted to surprise him, he'd be in a very good mood and try to surprise you back. It may turn into a competition for him.
Tsubaki-
She'd find it sweet and ask what you got her a gift for, and then try to get you something you like later.
Kid-
He'd be skeptical, but he would ultimately accept the gift. He may awkwardly try to get you something later. Once he realizes that you were just being nice and giving him a gift because you felt like it, he was a little more at ease.
Liz-
She'd thank you and spend a lot of time looking at the gift, wondering where you got it from and why you gave it to her. She'd probably take you with her somewhere to grab souvenirs. She might look at the gift when she's feeling down.
Patty-
She would be overjoyed and have sparkly eyes. She loves surprises, and it's even more special because it came from you! She'd definitely try to surprise you back and get you something even better.
Spirit-
He'd be awkward and skeptical, but he would actually get sentimental once he realizes that you just wanted to get him something. He'd cry and hug you, and it would be very silly and awkward, but at least he's happy?
He'd try to get you something you're interested in, and it would most likely be something silly.
Stein-
He'd be curious as to why you were suddenly giving him gifts, and would wonder where you got it from. He'd realize you just felt like giving him something, and he would set it on his desk to look at every once in a while.
He may give you something in return, although it may either be creepy or extremely mundane - definitely no in between.
Death-
He'd be ecstatic - he doesn't normally get gifts - and he may ask where you got it from. You'd chat about it, and he'd pull out something that he had saved to surprise you(he had planned to surprise you that exact same day).
Crona-
They'd be confused at first, but then just stare at the gift in wonder. They hardly ever get gifts at all, and it came from someone who actually cares about them. They might cry a little bit, and later would awkwardly present you with some random interesting thing they found.
Ragnarok would get angry until you surprised him with a gift, too, then he was extremely happy.
