𝐊𝐞𝐧𝐧𝐲 𝐏𝐚𝐲𝐧𝐞

You had met Kenny in school. You two became good friends because you were both outcasts. You later figured out that he played one of your favorite games as well. It was like destiny.

But things changed when he joined Cobra Kai Karate. He changed a lot. He even tried to convince you to join. You didn't want to join karate, you just wanted your friend back. 

You walked into school to see Kenny and his new friends chasing Anthony down. You ran after them before Kenny could do anything. You finally caught up to them. Kenny had Anthony pinned against the wall with his friends surrounding him. You ran over to them. 

"Kenny let him go!" You shouted.

He turned to look at you.

"Why should I? He gave us hell for no reason," Kenny said.

"That doesn't mean you should beat him up!" You exclaimed.

"So you're siding with the enemy," Kenny smirked.

"What?" You questioned.

"Why are you on his side?" Kenny asked.

"I'm not on his side, I-I'm not on anyone's side I just think it's wrong to beat him up," You said.

"Oh so it was okay for him to beat me up," Kenny said.

"No it wasn't okay, but that doesn't mean you should beat him up though. Please Kenny, just let him go," You pleaded.

Kenny saw the look in your eye. He could beat him up in front of you. He slowly let Anthony go and he sighed of relief.

"You got lucky Lapusso," Kenny tells him and he runs off.

You smiled at him. 

"Thank you Kenny," You said.

He nodded and his friends looked disappointed. You took Kenny's hand and walked to class.

After class you went to your locker and put away your books and papers.

"Hey," A voice said making you drop a few of your papers. You turned to see Anthony. 

"Sorry about that," He said helping you pick up your papers.

"I just wanted to say thank you for earlier, even though I didn't deserve it," Anthony said.

"It was no problem, I'm just tired of all of the fighting, I think it's getting old at this point," You said.

"Also, I'm sorry for making fun of you, you didn't deserve it and if I'm being honest, I play the same video game," Anthony said scratching the back of his neck.

"Really?" You giggled. "I thought you said it was stupid," You laughed.

"Yeah, I just thought I would get made fun of," Anthony said.

"I say to just be yourself and to not worry about what others think, because when we graduate no one will remember us," You said.

"That's actually true," He said.

"Well I have to get to class," You told him.

"Yeah, same, bye Y/N," He said walking to his class.

You walk to class having no idea that Kenny watched the whole thing.

You finished your last class of the day, going to meet Kenny. 

"Hey Kenny," You greeted.

He ignored you and started walking away.

"Kenny?" You asked.

Still no response.

He continued walking away.

You grabbed his shoulder and turned him around.

"What's your problem?" You asked.

"My problem is Lapusso," He said.

"Can you please just get over this stupid rivalry!" You exclaimed.

"I have no reason to!" Kenny shouted.

You walked away from him, aggravated.

"Fine go find your new boyfriend!" He shouted at you.

"Excuse you?" You questioned.

"Go find your new boyfriend, Anthony," Kenny said.

"I don't like Anthony," You said.

"Of course you do! I saw you in the hall with him laughing! You have to like him!" Kenny shouts.

"I don't like Anthony I like you!" You shouted, then gasped realizing what you said.

"You, you like me?" Kenny questioned.

"Yeah," You blushed as Kenny walked up to you.

"Well, I like you too Y/N, a lot," Kenny said. 

"So... now what?" You asked.

"Will you be my girlfriend?" Kenny asked hopeful.

"Yes! Just please stop all of this fighting with Anthony, I can't stand it anymore, it isn't you Kenny," You said.

"Okay, only for you," He said as he leaned down and kissed you.

You kissed back, feeling every problem you ever had fade away.
