Love is an exhausting cycle of almosts and bittersweet reunions for our star-crossed couple. The high school sweethearts part ways after a disastrous prom night only to reconnect a few years later in college. Their connection always seems on the verge of being perfect up until the moment it's not. After graduation sends them off in separate directions, a surprise reunion and an even bigger secret reveals one last chance to get it right. A story of how love's timing can be as unpredictable as it is profound.
Author's Note: I am going to attempt to downplay the characters ties to tiktok in this story. I am still using names you will recognize to make it easier to read but I will minimize using images of their faces to transition to less of a tiktok influence.
