A/n: This story will include a roleplay with Chuck E Cheese characters and smiling critters characters. Also, things will be a bit dramatized to better fit a story

It was just another night in Brookhaven, almost everything was closed for the night. Yet the night still felt alive. Though the snow storm could say other wise. The users outside trying to get somewhere safe as the wind blew hard, snow piling up, almost covering the streets.

A humanoid black cat was one of those users, walking in circles around the fountain. Trying to keep warm, but most of his outfit consisted of a tank top, a jersey jacket with 'Swingers' logo, and black jeans. His shoes freezing cold, and damped wet, feeling so frustrated with himself about his situation.

For you see, this cat was no ordinary cat. His name was Crusty the cat, a once popular character in the early years of Chuck E. Cheese, back when also called Pizza Time Theatre. Crusty was once happy, despite his bad luck, he loved to sing and do impressions whenever the spotlight was in him, even though he was only supposed to be just the right- hand man to the rat himself, Chuck E Cheese. Though, not everything would last forever, Crusty was suddenly fired from his job and let go. Crusty was of course upset by the news and tried to answers from the owner, but all he was told was that he was just not popular enough with the guest and would be replaced by someone else. Just as his bad luck kicked in even more, when he tried to get home to his dingey apartment, the landlord was there outside waiting for him and told him he was being evicted. Crusty was left more dumbfound, asking why, and all he was that he didn't pay his rent in time and had the next hour to pack whatever items and to leave the keys in the office.

And now here he was, having only pack two backpacks with some of his clothes, his favorite bat strapped behind him as well, and carrying a tote bag with personal items he couldn't leave behind. Thankfully he still had money change around and was able to leave San Jose area taking a city travel bus to a new town. Being dropped off in a new city he didn't recognize and never heard of, granted he fell asleep on the bus and wasn't able to get off untill the buses last stop, which was Brookhaven. The bus driver told him it was the last stop and would have to dropped here, leaving Crusty in the forsaken weather.

Being so unprepared for life, his black cat luck, Crusty wanted to yell, scream out his frustration, wanting to blame so many people that have wronged him, two of those being Chuck E Cheese and Mr. Nolan, including the landlord. But ultimately, Crusty just couldn't also help but blame himself for this mess. Getting tired of of having no plan plans going in circles around the fountain for almost an hour, he decided he would walk around town until he could at least find somewhere to crash for the night.

As Crusty was about to for the cross walk, a man approached him suddenly, he looked normal, wearing winter clothing and was holding a box of sort.

"Hello sir, are you miserable with your life" the man had said, rather gleefully

This kinda made Crusty a bit of upset, but still choose to respond

"Uh ..well I'm currently am homeless and jobless, so I guess I am at rock bottom" he said.

"Well, here you go sir~, in this box has the most joyous thing that could turn that frown upside down" the man had stated as he immediately handed the box to Crusty.

Crusty was taken a back as the box was immediately shoved to him. Crusty was about to decline and tell the man he was fine, but as looked, the man was suddenly gone. Crusty looked around, trying to see if he could spot him, but no luck, as if he just vanished in the winter air. Being distracted for a moment, he felt movement coming from the box. Startled, Crusty was a bit wary to open, thinking the man might have given him something dangerous.
