The clown-looking man scoffed at the set up manual of his new internet router, sighing loudly in frustration as he ran his fingers through his crimson hair. Though blessed with a sharp mind, the magician was never the best with technology.

You worked at a tech store that sold devices, did repairs, and installations. You were always good with those kinds of things and you even used to help your parents out often, so you thought this job would be perfect for you—but you had been incredibly wrong. You didn't really like your boss; he wasn't mean or anything but there was something off about him, especially the way he stared at you. And you had been considering quitting the past week.

You were at work, barely done with your lunch break when you were sent to a man's house to do a service. It was a large, modern house from the outside, and it looked like a comfy home inside. You rang the doorbell, fully expecting a 65 year old man with a pot belly who called the company you worked for because he wasn't familiar with that technology at his age.

But no; quite the opposite in fact. A tall, fairly muscular man, looking as to be in his late twenties opened the door; though he gave off a really creepy vibe, you couldn't help but notice his features in awe. Narrow golden eyes, a jawline you could cut yourself with if you even just ran a finger along it, odd clothes that brought out his physique, that smirk. and-

"Hello? Miss? Everything alright?" He asked, breaking you out of your trance.

Oh god what was I thinking, that was totally unprofessional. You told yourself.

"Oh uh sorry about that—yes hi, I believe I'm here to set up your internet." You replied. He hummed in response, as he led you to where the router was.

Gosh even his voice—I could listen to that all da—no snap out of it!!

You sat down and got to work immediately, grabbing all the cables and everything you needed. You felt a shiver run down your spine, the man hadn't left; he was still there, just watching you while sitting on the couch.

"Don't you got work to do or something?" You asked, before quickly covering your mouth because of your words.

He didn't seem offended at all, instead, he just chuckled. "I'm really not too busy today, and I thought perhaps I might learn a thing or two from watching as you work your magic~"

You continued to connect the cables to the router, trying your best to ignore his gaze. Then you connected the last cable to the power, saw the router light up, and turned the internet on.
Now you needed to make sure it worked, so you went up to him.

"I'm gonna just make sure that the internet works, so I'll need your phone." You said. He dug for his phone in his pocket, and handed it to you. As he did so, your hands brushed together, staying connected a little longer than they should have been. Your cheeks got hot, and you wondered why you were getting so flustered over such a minor touch. He shot you a look, directly in the eye, as you blushed, and finally let go of the phone so you could check the internet.

Something about that man attracted you, and it wasn't just his looks. Maybe it was how mysterious he came off, or the charm in his speech, or even how he looked at you, perhaps. You just wanted to know more about him.

Once the internet showed up on the screen, you checked the sticker on the router for its password, and entered it.

"You can find the password right here, but you can also change the password on the website." You said, pointing to the sticker.

"Lovely, thank you dear~" He said, making your cheeks redder than before.

"Yeah no problem. Uh I think I'll get going tho-"
