Hoseok strode into the study, his expression grim. The other six members of their group turned to him expectantly, sensing the urgency in his demeanour.

"I have something to report," Hoseok began, his voice low and serious. "Earlier today, at the amusement park, I encountered some... unwelcome visitors."

The room grew hushed as the others listened intently. Hoseok recounted the incident, describing how he had swiftly intercepted the would-be assailants who had been lurking near Y/N and himself.

"They knew we were there," Hoseok concluded, his brow furrowed. "And I believe they were aware of Y/N's presence with me."

The implications of his words hung heavily in the air. Namjoon was the first to speak, his usually calm expression now tinged with concern.

"This is troubling news. If they knew Y/N was with you, then she may be in danger." He turned to the others, his gaze resolute. "We need to take extra precautions to ensure her safety."

The others nodded in agreement, the mood in the room shifting from one of casual camaraderie to one of heightened vigilance.

"We'll need to reevaluate our security protocols and keep a closer eye on her movements," Yoongi chimed in, already mentally formulating a plan of action.

Jin placed a hand on Hoseok's shoulder, his eyes filled with understanding. "You did the right thing, Hobi. Protecting Y/N is our top priority now."

As the group launched into a discussion of their next steps, Hoseok could only hope that they would be able to keep Y/N safe from whatever threats were looming on the horizon.

"I think it's best if we don't alarm Y/N just yet," Namjoon suggested, his brow furrowed in contemplation. "We don't want to worry her unnecessarily, especially if we're not fully aware of the situation."

The others nodded in agreement, their expressions serious.

"Hobi, you said the assailants retreated when you intervened," Jin noted, turning to Hoseok. "That suggests they may not have been there to directly target Y/N. We should investigate further before bringing her into it."

Jimin chimed in, "Exactly. For now, let's keep a closer eye on her movements and gather more intel. We can decide how to approach this once we have a clearer picture."

Taehyung spoke up, his usually playful demeanour replaced by a steely determination. "I'll coordinate with our security team and make sure they're on high alert. We won't let anything happen to her."

Nodding, Yoongi added, "In the meantime, Hobi, you should continue spending time with Y/N as usual. Don't let on that anything is amiss. We need to maintain a sense of normalcy for her."

With a heavy sigh, Hoseok agreed. "Alright, I'll do my best to keep her in the dark for now. But the moment I feel her safety is truly compromised, I won't hesitate to tell her."

The others murmured their understanding, and the group launched into a detailed discussion of their security measures and investigative plans. Their priority was clear: to protect Y/N at all costs, even if it meant keeping her in the dark for the time being.

***

I couldn't help but notice the increased security presence around me in the following days. Wherever I went, there always seemed to be a member of the group or one of their trusted staff nearby, their watchful eyes ever-present.

At first, I chalked it up to my imagination, but as the days passed, it became increasingly apparent that the guys were being extra vigilant about my whereabouts and safety. Even Hoseok, who had seemed somewhat distant after the incident at the amusement park, was now back to his usual cheerful self, though I couldn't help but wonder if there was an underlying tension beneath the surface.

One afternoon, as I was walking down the corridor, I unexpectedly bumped into Jimin, who had a worried expression on his face.

"Oh, I'm so sorry! I didn't see you there," I apologized hurriedly, steadying myself.

Jimin's features softened, and he placed a gentle hand on my arm. "No, no, it's my fault. I should have been more aware of my surroundings." His brows knitted together, and he studied my face intently. "Are you alright? You haven't been... feeling uneasy or anything, have you?"

I blinked, surprised by the concern in his voice. "I, uh, no, I'm fine. But I have noticed the security has been a bit tighter lately. Is everything okay?"

Jimin's lips pressed into a thin line, and he seemed to weigh his words carefully. "Well, you know, we just want to make sure you're safe and comfortable here. There's no need to worry, but please let us know if anything seems out of the ordinary, okay?"

I nodded, my mind racing with questions, but Jimin's earnest expression and the genuine worry in his eyes made me hesitate to pry further. "Okay, I'll be sure to let you know. Thank you, Jimin."

With a reassuring smile, Jimin excused himself, leaving me to wonder what might be going on behind the scenes. The guys' heightened attentiveness and Jimin's uncharacteristic concern had piqued my curiosity, but I knew better than to push them for answers they weren't ready to share.
