"A UNICORN!" squeals Xylia. As she outstretches her hand to stroke the majestic creature, it charges and Xylia takes out her sword and kills the horned beast. "Everything I love is trying to kill me," says Xylia, tears welling up in her green eyes. "All my dreams and wishes have turned to dust and regrets," she sobs. "Come on, let's get home. It's almost nighttime," I say. Xylia takes my hand and we walk through the stars all the way home. When we get there, Xyla says, "Remember what I said I'd do with that one guy that changed the world?" I nod and start getting closer to Xylia, sclosing our eyes. But before the moment strikes me, Xylia opens her eyes and giggles, "I lied about that. I was just really desperate for hard mode." she skips to her little room, and I'm left there alone.

What just happened? I ponder, knives in my soul put there by my best friend. Am I not good enough? Did I say something wrong? WHAT IS DRIVING ME AWAY FROM XYLIA?! I scream in my mind. Maybe she just isn't ready yet. Maybe this could all work out. Wait. Just wait later. We could be something. Maybe we could face the world as one. Face it together like we promised each other. Out of the blue, a lone cry pierces the night breeze. "DAVID! HELP ME!" Xylia? "LET ME GO YOU SONS OF BLASTED MFFFFF..." "I'M COMING, XYLIA!" I scream, put on my Hasty Hermes boots, then run in the direction of Xylia's screaming. Then there they are.

Fortunately, Negurk isn't here to see this. He'd probably barf, pull out some sort of death-contraption, scream, "GO TO THE UNDERWORLD YOU MISTAKES!" then he'd push a few buttons, connect a few wires, then wipe out and lag the World. But Negurk isn't here. I'm the one that has to take action now. I pull out my Phoenix Blaster, and say, "Let the dryad go. Then I'll CONSIDER not killing you all." "David! You came for me!" squeals Xylia. "It's okay Xylia. They'll let you go. OR ELSE." I load my Phoenix Blaster and stare deep into the goblins' eyes as if I'm trying to grasp their souls and deteriorate them down to the ashes of nothing.

The leader of the goblin army drops Xylia to the ground. She runs to me and hugs me. "RETREAT!" shouts the Goblin Leader. "Yeah! That's right! You BETTER retreat you scaredy-cats!" I shout at the intruders. Xylia taps me on the shoulder. "David, what's a cat?" I just laugh and say, "It's a guide and know-it-all thing.I really don't know where I get all that random information." (Or you could get the unlucky black yarn to get a black cat.) "Wait... maybe The Creators gave it to me." NO ONE in Terraria knows who the creators are besides me. They're formed in close groups and gave themselves titles. There's Re-Logic, 505 Games, CodeGlue, and RokNet. And they've put something in my code to keep me from telling anyone who they are. And i can't tell anyone that they're living in a videogame, not real life. But there's a voice telling me I should tell the Terraria World. Defy the code. Set myself free.

At home, Xylia say s goodnight and walks to her apartment. Again, I'm left pondering on and on about her. Is she avoiding me? Does she even like me anymore? Fear takes over me and I start to worry. I might know everything about Terraria and possibly soon everything IRL.. In Real Life. But not about Xylia.

The next day Xylia walks towards me. "Hey, David!" exclaims Xylia. "Hi, Xylia. What are you doing today?" I ask. "Nothing really," she replies. "Well I have some stuff to tell you that will blow your MIND! Well not literally anyway," I exclaim. "Okay, David. Blow my mind," the dryad says, not really interested.

I take a deep breath and look at Xylia. "We live in real life, right?" Defy against the code. Break the system. "Yeah," says Xylia. "WRONG! We're living  in a video game. A game people in the real world do for FUN. There's an entire 3D high-resolution world out there," I say, pointing at the sky above. "Past the wyverns and the floating islands. Then there you'll be in real life. I want to be 3D and high-resolution!" exclaims Xylia. "And that's not even the end of it! We don't have flesh and blood like everyone thinks. We have code that controls us all. And it can all be taken away by going to the real life!" I shout.

"I want to go to the real life! I want to stop living this fake life and have flesh and blood... not just code!" exclaims Xylia. Suddenly, facts of war, death, and starvation flood my mind. In the real life.

"N-no you don't," I mumble. "Why, David? You made it seem like the real world was so great. What's so bad about it?" asks the dryad. I can't resist Xylia's desperate begging. "Xylia, can I trust you with another secret?" "Anything," she says.
