Chiquitaleaned over the map, her eyes wide with curiosity. “I swear, Ahyeon, I’ve never seen this island on any map before. It’s like it just appeared out of nowhere.”

Ahyeon glanced at the old parchment in Chiquita's hands, her brow furrowed. “Canny, are you sure it’s not just a smudge or something?”

Chiquita rolled her eyes, a playful smirk on her lips. “When have I ever been wrong about something like this? Come on, Ahyeon. Let’s check it out. Who knows? Maybe we’ll find some hidden treasure.”

Ahyeon hesitated, her instincts screaming that this was a bad idea. But Chiquita’s excitement was contagious, and before she knew it, they were steering their small boat towards the mysterious island.

As they approached, a dense fog surrounded them, making the world outside their boat disappear. “This is creepy,” Ahyeon muttered, clutching the sides of the boat.

“You scared?” Chiquita teased, though her voice held a hint of nervousness too.

“No, just… cautious,” Ahyeon replied, her eyes scanning the mist.

Suddenly, the fog lifted, revealing a breathtaking island covered in lush greenery and towering cliffs. The sight was mesmerizing, unlike anything they had ever seen before.

“Whoa… this is unreal,” Chiquita whispered, her voice full of awe.

Ahyeon nodded, equally stunned. “How could something this big be hidden?”

They docked the boat on the sandy shore, their feet sinking into the warm sand as they stepped onto the island. The air was thick with the scent of tropical flowers, and the sounds of unfamiliar birds echoed in the distance.

“Looks like we’re the first ones here,” Chiquita said, her excitement bubbling over.

“Or the first ones in a long time,” Ahyeon added, eyeing the dense jungle before them.

As they ventured deeper into the island, they noticed strange carvings on the trees and rocks. Symbols and patterns that seemed ancient, yet full of meaning. The air around them felt different, almost charged with energy.

“Do you feel that?” Ahyeon asked, stopping in her tracks.

“Yeah… like we’re being watched,” Chiquita replied, her voice barely above a whisper.

They continued walking, the jungle around them growing thicker and more oppressive with every step. Just as they were about to turn back, they stumbled upon a massive stone gate, half-hidden by vines and foliage.

“This must be it,” Chiquita breathed, reaching out to touch the cold stone.

“But it’s locked. How do we get in?” Ahyeon asked, her voice tinged with worry.

Chiquita inspected the gate carefully, her fingers tracing the carvings. “There’s a puzzle here… If we can solve it, maybe it’ll open.”

Ahyeon frowned, looking at the complex symbols. “This isn’t going to be easy, Canny.”

“Nothing worth finding ever is,” Chiquita grinned, already working on the puzzle.

They spent hours deciphering the carvings, their minds racing as they pieced together the ancient code. Just as the sun began to set, the gate rumbled, slowly opening to reveal a hidden path.

“We did it,” Ahyeon said, relief washing over her.

“Let’s go see what they’re hiding,” Chiquita replied, a determined glint in her eyes.

Together, they stepped through the gate and into the unknown.
