riki and emiko were basically a black cat and a golden retriever. emiko was a sad and depressed girl, while riki did everything he could to make her happy.

riki and emiko were up at night playing games since it was winter break, a perfect time for couples to cuddle and celebrate. Riki had been meaning to tell emiko something and so has emiko, but they were too nervous to say it.
konon knows about what riki was gonna say, and kazuha knows what emiko was gonna say. they both tried to make them say it but not yet. they wanted to wait until Christmas.. and it's Christmas Eve.
"riki.." emiko spoke, in some nervous and scared voice. Riki looked up from his phone and bobbed his head. As in saying, 'what?' emiko bit her lip in embarrassment, "I have something to say.." Riki's eyes widened and he sat up, "uh.. me too." emiko nodded.
"do you wanna say it at the same time then..?" emiko spoke, riki nodded and smiled awkwardly. he let out a fake cough, trying to get his nerves away,
"i like 𝐘𝐎𝐔." they both said at the same time, riki and emiko paused in shock and happiness. emiko quickly hugged him, and Riki held her by her waist. "oh lord.. I thought you were gonna say something else.." riki said as he buried his face in her neck. emiko giggled and shook her head.
"wait... does this mean.. we're dating.?" emiko said nervously, riki nodded and kissed her neck softly, emiko pushed him away playfully and he pouted as if he was sad.
"can i kiss you.. if only you say yes." riki spoke, emikos face turned red and she nodded quickly. Riki moved his face towards hers and she smiled awkwardly. he connected their lips and kissed. (I can't I'm cringing SOO BAD.) the kiss went on for about 12 minutes until they pulled away, their lips looked pretty swollen, then riki laid down and pulled emiko down with him, he hooked his arm around her waist and held her close.
then they soon fell asleep together, like a couple during christmas. But now, they were the couple.
