riki and emiko were basically a black cat and a golden retriever. emiko was a sad and depressed girl, while riki did everything he could to make her happy.

"Riki, wake up!" emiko whisper shouted in his ear, riki woke up startled a bit, he looked at emiko and was concerned. "what's wrong baby?" (oh lord) Riki said confused and slightly worried.
emiko was pouting and rubbing her stomach, "I'm hungry." riki rolled his eyes and stretched, "we can go to the cafe that's a few blocks away." riki mentioned licking his dry lips, "hm!" then riki got up and went to shower, after he got out emiko ran in the shower.
"nishimura riki! did you use all the fucking hot water!" emiko shouted making riki pause while putting on his pants, he gulped and his eyes were widened. "I-No!" riki stuttered, emiko rolled her eyes. "then why is the Water so cold!" she twisted it to the hot side and only cold water splashed down.
then emiko got out the bathroom and brushed her teeth and changed, she went out the bathroom and put on a bit of makeup, riki came behind her and hugged her from behind, "you don't need makeup.. your perfect the way you are." riki kissed her cheek, she blushed and shook her head and put some lip gloss on.
after that she put on her shoes, and jacket. riki already was at the door waiting for her, then she went downstairs, and left with riki. they both walked to the cafe since it wasn't really far, only a 3 minute walk.
then they got to the cafe and was greeted with the smell of fresh coffee and a sweet smell. riki and emiko sat at a booth and waited for the waiter, the waiter came up and asked what they wanted to order.
"uhm, can I have the pancakes and she wants the waffles, and syrup please." riki said, riki knew emiko had social anxiety so whenever their out, he usually says what she wants. green flag, right?
the waiter wrote down their stuff and walked away, then Riki's parents walked in with bisco and misola, bisco jumped out of misolas arms and ran to emiko and riki, bisco jumped on riki, and started sitting on his lap, emiko pet bisco since she was sitting next to riki, his mom smiled at them and sat at their own booth, then his mom texted riki that they can keep bisco at their house. with misolas permission of course.
then their food came and they started eating, riki and emiko cut a slice for eachother and traded it, emiko had strawberries while riki had blueberries. they both traded the fruits. they finished eating and Riki left a $5 tip and left with emiko holding bisco.
they both walked home and kazuha was outside with konon just sitting on the grass staring at the sky, emiko giggled at them and went inside riki shook his head and went inside also.
