Large black coffee?(sengen)

Late but at least I have my coffee

Thursday.

Senku again made his way down town and again entered the same magical coffee shop from the day prior. He had to admit for once he was surprised by how good coffee could taste with no added sugars nor sweeteners. He scrolled through a chat group of him, taiju and yuzuriha. They were planing to hang out this weekend at senkus place. Of course they're making plans for him, they always do. Or else he would probably get so absorbed in his work he'd forget to take care of himself. Not to say that hadn't happened before. Also of course they would love to see senkus new apartment. The drive was about 40 mins so the plan was for them to come tomorrow night apparently and stay till Saturday day. Senku let out a soft chuckle at all the emojis and exclamation points taiju uses. He himself sees them to be pointless and keeps his texts structured and to the point.

"Um sir can I have your order?" He realizes he was bit to absorbed in his phone he hadn't realized he was at the front of the line. He cursed at his friends. Always distracting him.

"Yah, sorry about that" he says still scrolling. "A large black coffee. All I need" he again payed quick and ran off to his lab coffee in hand.

Friday

Senku ran down the street, nearly tumbling over his scrawny legs. He made the decision, while running down town, to again grab a quick coffee for the day. He made his way in, catching his breath the best he could. Soon he found his place in line. Yes a line. The biggest one he's seen here yet. Out of all the days! He stretched his back and tapped his foot. Person after person went, it was so slow. He almost left there and then if it wasn't for a man calling for him. For once he looked up and had to freeze for a sec. "Large black coffee?" The man in front held out his hand, offering the cup. He had split dyed hair, black and white with the white side being a little longer in the front. Small round eyebrows. He had plump lips that twisted into a smirk, probably from having known his order. But his face started to slip into nerves, probably fearing now was the time the scientist would choose to order something else.

"Um sir is something ong-wray?". He tilted his head.

"Nothings wrong, just in a rush. And yes, you're ten billion percent correct. A large black coffee." Senku grabbed it and paid, tapping his card on the screen. A ding rang out and he was off. As he raced down the street he couldn't think of the reason the man was so familiar. So of course he ignored it, being the most logical thing. He had science to work on and couldn't let himself get distracted.

He walked past the automated doors and headed straight for the elevator. He scanned his keycard and to the top he went. The opened with a ding as he strolled through the hall of his still new office and lab. As he walked he waved in throw windows at his new found colleagues, though only a few, being his dad and a guy named chrome, share the same interest in science. Though he was a bit to energetic sometimes, but it's good to see someone so passionate about the same thing hes interested in. An old man named kaseki also work there but was more of a crafts man than a "scientist". Still he worked to make special equipment needed for their tests. He was very skilled, and was good at falling strict instructions. Even in the three first days of being here Senku was able to study everyone well. A girl worked there named kohaku who was the brute strength of the team. She mainly would help on cases needing extra man power. She also taught a karate class in afternoons for kids 13 and up. The lab was more of a side thing plus all her friends are here. Senku does admit he's glad to have a strong network of friends as a team. Makes it all more efficient and they gladly excepted Senku to join them. Many actually very impressed by the young man's skills and intelligence. A guy named kinro also worked at kohakus karate class and helped in the lab part time. Also for strength and his more strict point of view. Senku knew he also had a brother but wouldn't be meeting him anytime soon as he doesn't work at the lab and sometimes is at the karate class. But when would Senku even find himself there? Who knows, maybe after getting to know everyone more he'd be interested in checking it out. Anyways Senku approached the back of the hall. Finally opening the door to his lab/office. He put his bag down and coffee and clocked in with the digital pad on the wall. Only 5 minutes late. Yet that's 5 minutes wasted. He just sighed and grabbed his lab coat and his other attire. His latest test have been with a brand new way of healing (changed my mind I am gonna come up with whatever science shit he's doing). He's had little results though. The idea of preserving and rebirth. He's been at it for months but needed a bigger space and help if he wanted to get this anywhere. Hence why he moved to work here. He, at this point, has created this small device. You see, it's meant to cleanse a person and push out disease. The way it's to work is to almost comatose someone. In that state the device will do its job to remove any unwanted infection or disease from the body. Then when finished another substance will break them out of this short coma and have them come out fully healthy. Seems a bit out there, but whats the point of science if you can't use it to save people? And Senkus goal was to save everyone he could. He also spent time coming up with a way or many ways for the earth to withstand 7 billion people. But for now he's in his chair tinkering away it this strange devices. Maybe he'll start tests soon....
