Taehyung woke up as usual, joining his family for breakfast. "Taehyung, I request you to go fencing today." For once, Taehyung's eyes brightened. At the mention of fencing. "Just me? It's more fun with Jihoon." Jihoon shook his head."Sorry, Taehyung, I have military affairs to report to. Actually, come to the military tent after fencing. I need to talk to you." Taehyung nodded, having an idea all of a sudden. With a smirk, he leaned over and whispered something in Jihoon's ear. "Bet Father can't comprehend military because he once thought it was a way of dressing." Jihoon laughed loudly, catching his father's attention.
"Jihoon, my son, why must you keep information from us? Tell the table," the King complained. Jihoon quickly stopped laughing. "Father, it's sibling things. Sometimes brothers keep things to each other." The King frowned and went back to eating his food, leaving the two Kim siblings to laugh to themselves. A glance from the queen told them to stop.
After breakfast, Taehyung went back upstairs to change into his fencing outfit. He didn't find Kiere snooping around as usual. Thank goodness, he thought. That woman was really getting on his nerves.
Once he was dressed, he took his sword hanging from his desk chair and headed out. The classes he took were at a house in Assa.
They specialized in all forms of self defense, and it was where Taehyung and Jihoon learned to fight. People were up and bustling about, running either to their homes or the city square for some shopping. Once he arrived at the house, he knocked on the door.
A man answered it with a happy grin. He had blond hair, brown eyes and a sharp face. "Hello, Your Highness. Welcome in. Your brother is not joining us?" Taehyung returned the smile and walked inside.
"No, Matt. He had affairs to attend to." Matt chuckled. "I guess you're sparring with me today." Taehyung set his sword against the wall, still safely in its sheath. He grabbed a fencing sword, not putting on any protection.
"Ooh. Challenger mode," Matt joked. Taehyung laughed and made the first move, aiming for Matt's chest. Within a few seconds, they exchanged quick blows, the clang of thin metal against thin metal the only sound heard.
Taehyung won the round, the tip of the sword by Matt's throat. "Good," Matt said. "Excellent form. You just need to be faster." At the word faster, Matt lunged at Taehyung again.
They played more rounds, the movements getting quicker. When Matt won their last round, Taehyung went to go get a drink of water, panting. "You did good today. I'll see you next time." Taehyung nodded in thanks before Matt left the room. Suddenly, he heard a shrill scream outside.
Worried, he grabbed his sword from its place against the wall and rushed out. He ran to the commotion, finding someone dressed in black with a pistol. They looked to be strong in the fighting arts. All the people had fled, hiding behind houses or any solid object. Raising the pistol, they fired shots up in the air. "I demand for the prince! Or this citizen dies," they shouted. A woman. They held a person with their left arm on a choke hold.
Taehyung, who was hiding secretly, saw who the person was. And immediately came forward with his sword drawn from its sheath.
Jungkook
The last thing I expected was to have a gun pointed at my head.
It was completely normal day, taking orders and cooking. Until this random asshole came along and started firing shots in the town square. I came out to ask, annoyed, what the fuck was going on, and the next thing I know, I have a pistol pointed at my head.
They had me in a choke hold, slowly depriving me of oxygen. I should have fought by now, but I'm too weak. Then, I see Taehyung. He has his sword unsheathed, slowly approaching my captor.
