Soulmates ( an Invader Zim Smut )

Chapter 2

It's been two weeks, and Dib still hasn't found any information on why Zim has been acting strangely. It seems like Zim is no longer trying to take over the world, and the conflict between Dib and Zim at school has also decreased.

Dib is still determined to figure out what's causing Zim's unusual behavior. Zim has been quiet and has almost avoided Dib. Confused by this even more, Dib decided to follow Zim home and observe what happens next.

Later, Dib followed Zim to his house and watched his every move. Dib then broke into the house and went downstairs to Zim's room, where he overheard Zim talking to himself about something.

Zim: "Dammit! Why does this strange feeling keep appearing when I'm near Dib? What is happening to me? *Sniff* *tears falling from his eyes* I can't get these thoughts out of my mind! It's like I don't want to destroy or take over this stupid planet! Why can't I stop thinking about Dib and his cool personality?"

Dib overhears everything and is confused at the same time, watching Zim in his room looking like he was crying and angry at the same time.

Zim cries himself to sleep and Dib leaves to go back to his house to process what he just found out.

The next day comes around and Zim looks like he didn't get any sleep at all. Dib watching every move that Zim is making and notices that he didn't get any sleep. So he walks up to Zim catching him off guard.

Dib: " Zim are you okay? You look like shit? Did you get enough sleep last night? "

Zim: " H-huh!? D-Dib!? What the hell are you doing?"

Dib: " W-whoa Zim I was just asking if you were okay, you look like you barely got any sleep. "

Zim: " * sighs * I-I didn't get any sleep last night, I was having trouble sleeping there are these thoughts kept going through my mind that just won't leave me alone! "

*Bell rings *

Zim: " Better get to class or Ms. teacher would give me dention and I don't want that."

Zim walks away heading to class and Dib was worried that something was wrong, which it somehow confirmed of what happened last night did happen and Zim was blushing while they were talking in the hallway.

Dib of course did blush as well, but not as obvious as Zim's was. So it was his idea to find a way to confess to Zim and hope for Zim to confess to him as well. Maybe later today after school he could at least try.
