Sarah and Jackson:
"AGH!" Jackson wakes up screaming, covering his ears.
He looks around frantically, being woken up by a blaring alarm on his tv. He ran out his room, screaming for his mom, but she was already in the living room waiting for him.
"Mom, what's going on?!" Jackson yells over the alarms
"I'm not sure honey.." she screams back
"..but I think your father was right" she whispers to herself. Sarah grabs Jackson's hand and brings him down to the basement. She puts a code into a keypad that's connected to a sliding door against the wall. The door opens and she grabs three duffle bags from the table on the side of it.
"Hurry, fill this up with all the ammo you can carry" Jackson looks down at the bag then up at his mom again. His eyes are watery, tears almost spilling over
"Look baby, I know you're scared but right now mommy needs you to be a big boy and do what I tell you, okay?" Jackson nods and wipes his tears away.
He waits for the sliding door to fully open before he starts filling the duffle bag with ammo. He decides grabbing two boxes at a time isn't fast enough, so he took both of his arms and wrapped them around as much ammo as he could, sliding it to himself but it all falls into the bag instead.
Sarah then walks across to the other side of the basement, filling the other duffle bag with as much food and water as she can, it mostly being canned vegetables and beans.
After she's done, she runs back over to Jackson and fills the third bag with the guns that were hanging on the wall. A few handguns, a shot gun, and a sniper that she throws over her shoulder.
"Ready?" she looks at Jackson, watching him zip up the duffle bag.
"Ready"
They both run up the stairs and out the house to Sarah's black Jeep Wrangler.
-Departed from Austin, Texas-
Spencer and Lilly:
Lilly's running around the playground, laughing as one of the other kids she's playing with chases her. Spencer looks on, smiling to himself as he watches his daughter make friends just as easily as her mother did.
His thoughts were interrupted when he hears screaming coming from across the field. He stands up and walks a little closer to Lilly, keeping his eyes in the direction of where the screams are coming from.
"what the.." he asks himself
Soon after, the screaming gets louder, and Spencer can now see what looks like two people "jumping" a lady. A few seconds later, another man runs over to help her, but then he gets attacked. The lady then stands up, slowly, blood gushing out of her neck, getting all over her hair and clothes. She lets out the most blood curdling scream that Spencer's every heard, and instantly everyone around them start to scream and run. Panic sets in fast and soon the whole park was in a frenzy.
"Lilly.." Spencer calls out but not loud enough for her to hear over the chaos, now locking eyes with the lady who's now... dead?
"LILLY" he screamed louder this time, finally breaking the eye contact. He looks in Lilly's direction and sees her hiding under the slide, screaming for him, with her eyes shut
"DADDY!" she screams repeatedly, until she feels the warm embrace wrap around her, that she knows all too well and has come to love. Spencer runs with his daughter back to his Ford truck and takes off.
