Endless waiting

Victoria's first mistake was to leave someone who's about to get into a deep depression completely alone.

At home, Leo begged Troy to forgive him and come over, but he was still really upset, to the point that he stopped answering Leo at some point of the conversation.

The Nutella filled chocolates were almost over, and there wasn't any other thing which could make this whole situation better. There wasn't any choice but to end that by the faster way.

Leo starts to walk toward the closet, he grabbed the tie Charlie used to wear when they were about to have sex, he used to walk out the bathroom into Leo's room only wearing that tie. Charlie's manly smell was still kinda fresh on the tie's fabric.

Leo made sure no one was home, locked all the doors and windows, brought one of the kitchen's chair and set it under a hook they had set on the roof to hang Leo's punching bag, he smelled the tie one last time.

During one of his naps, Charlie was woken up by a loud sound, which he ended up finding out that was one of the fire department's helicopter; finally.

He wasn't really conscious about things, he was losing his forces each day, the firefighter kept asking him questions, which he didn't understood very well, while the man cut his seatbelt.

White as a snowflake, Charlie went to a city near the place the plane fell. They made Charlie rest on a bed, giving him food and some medicine.

After sometime, the same guy who rescued him said he was somewhere around Venice, and that he needed his parents permission to take him to a real hospital at the center of Venice. Charlie gave his mum's number to the man. After sometime, the man came back to the room Charlie was and told him that after many tries they gave up, as no one answered.

The man then proceeded to ask Charlie a bunch of questions again, those were not really important questions, it was just a "game" to keep his mind occupied and working.

One simple question made tears roll down Charlie's face: "Who would you like to be with right now?". More than never, he missed Leo's arms around his chest when cuddling during cold nights, even though the feeling of being betrayed was one of the worst things he had ever experienced, missing someone he loved so much was even worse.

One of the guys knocked the door and opened it slightly saying with a strange accent that a little girl called back from the number Charlie gave them, Charlie then dried his tears, "Brooke!? Is her name Brooke?", the guy then just transferred the call to the telephone beside his bed.

Charlie: Brooke?

Brooke: Hi, Charlie. Are you ok?

Charlie: Yes, I mean, kinda. But how's mum?

Brooke: I don't know. Victoria just called her asking for help. She asked me to stay here.

Charlie's heart nearly stopped.
