**Chrollo Lucilfer POV**
---
The morning sun filtered through the tall windows of Class 1-A’s homeroom, casting warm light across the rows of desks. The students were seated, their attention focused on the front of the room where I stood, poised and calm as always. Despite the usual energy that buzzed in the room, today was different. The air was thick with anticipation, the memory of last night’s encounter still fresh in their minds.
They tried to act normal—engaging in the usual chatter before class, but I could see the subtle glances they cast my way, the questions they were too afraid to ask lingering behind their eyes. They wanted to know more, to understand what they had witnessed, but they were uncertain how to approach it. For now, they were silent, waiting to see how the day would unfold.
“Good morning, class,” I began, my voice even and composed as I addressed them. “Today, we’ll be discussing a topic that is crucial to your development as heroes: strategy and adaptability in combat situations.”
There was a murmur of interest from the students, but I noticed the way a few of them—Bakugo, Midoriya, Todoroki—exchanged looks, as if wondering if today’s lesson would offer some insight into the events they had witnessed.
I walked over to the chalkboard, picking up a piece of chalk with a measured hand. “In the world of heroes, power alone is not enough to ensure victory. A hero must be able to analyze their opponent, understand their weaknesses, and adapt their strategy accordingly. This is especially true when facing enemies who are stronger or more unpredictable than yourself.”
I began to draw on the board, a simple diagram illustrating the key points I was making. “Consider the villains you’ve encountered so far. Many of them rely on overwhelming force, on brute strength or destructive quirks. But those who are truly dangerous—the ones who pose the greatest threat—are those who think ahead, who plan their moves like a chess game. They anticipate your actions, and they exploit your weaknesses.”
Midoriya raised his hand, his expression thoughtful. “But Sensei, what if you’re facing an opponent who’s already thought several steps ahead? How do you counter that?”
I turned to face him, nodding slightly at his question. “A good question, Midoriya. The answer lies in understanding your own strengths and weaknesses just as well as you understand your opponent’s. If you know what your opponent expects you to do, you can use that to your advantage. Misdirection, unpredictability—these are tools that can turn the tide of battle in your favor.”
