I look over to see that girl Brianna walking over to us.
"That's weird." I said
"What?" Amelia said confused
"That Brianna girl is walking over here."
"What?!" She said quickly
"Hello!" Brianna said
"Uhm.. hi?" Amelia said
"What do you want?" I asked her
She just looked at me meanly.
"No need to be rude." She said
I just looked at her and smiled sarcastically
"Anyways, I heard y'all might be runners! How exciting."
"Are you actually excited? Or are you excited we might die." I asked her
She just looked at me and didn't know what to say.
"Oh you bitch." I said
"Oh please. If u were me u would think the same."
"No the hell I wouldn't!"
Amelia just looked at me getting ready for anything.
"Can you just shut up?" She told me
"Excuse me?!"
"You heard me bitch."
I was about to punch her when Minho grabbed me.
"What the hell! Get off!"
I pulled myself off him angrily.
I looked at him and just walked away from them Angrily.

-------LATER THAT DAY-----
I heard a knock on my door and just ignored it.
"Lilith?" I heard Amelia say from outside
"Come in."
She walks in smiling.
"What."
"Guess what!" She said excitedly
"What."
"We get to run in the maze!" She said
"Yippieee.!" I said sarcastically
"Can u cheer up."
I just looked at her and smiled brightly and stopped.
"Okay, You know what I'm done."
"Bye Lilith." She said as she walked out of my room.
I thought in my mind. What is in the maze? What is the maze like?
All of a sudden I remember something.

"Lilith. Do u remember what this is?" A girl showed me a picture of this.. creature?
"Yes. It's a greiver." I said
"Good."
"What do they do?" She asked me again
"They kill you." I said
"Great."
She walked over to the same guy and told him to shut it off.
I started looking around and saw Amelia over in the other room.
Why is she here?
I felt my head getting dizzy but I still remember.
"Do you remember what this is?" She asked me again
I just looked at the screen.
"A griever ?"
"Uhm yea."
"What do they do?"
"Uhm... they hurt you?" I said
"Yea." She said confused and then she left again.
"Why does she remember it?" She asked the guy.
"She's to strong she's rejecting the chip." He said
"We need to take some of her blood."
"Got it." She said
She walked back over to me.
"Okay, we just need a little bit of blood."
"Okay."
A guy came over to her with tools.
"Just close ur eyes it won't hurt a bit."
I felt the thing go in my skin. It in fact did hurt.
"Okay. All done."
"Go give this to Amelia." She said
"Got it."
"Okay honey. Now tell me what this is?" She showed me the picture again.
"Uhm.... I don't know."
"Alright.
"What does it do?"
I tried to think really hard but it wouldn't work
"I can't think of it."
"Alright."
"Perfect." She said smirking.

I woke up and looked around. My breathing was heavy and my hands were shaking. What was happening to me. Why me?
