**Jennie's POV**

I glanced at my watch, tapping my foot impatiently as the gate attendant made the final boarding call. I had been stuck in back-to-back meetings all day, and this flight from Seoul to Jeju was my last chance to catch some peace before another round of client presentations. I was not in the mood for any delays.

As I approached my seat in business class, I noticed it was occupied by someone who clearly didn't belong there. A girl with a wild, carefree aura, oversized hoodie, and ripped jeans was sprawled across my seat, headphones blasting music so loud that I could hear it from where I stood.

"Excuse me," I said, a little sharper than I intended. "You're in my seat."

The girl glanced up, her eyes sparkling with mischief. She pulled out one earbud and gave me a lopsided grin. "Oh, hey. I thought this was my seat."

"It's not," I replied, crossing my arms. "You're in 3A. This is 2A."

She shrugged casually, her grin never fading. "Guess I read the ticket wrong. My bad."

As she finally got up to move, I couldn't help but notice the way she moved—effortless and confident, like she didn't have a care in the world. I envied that. I was Jennie Kim, always in control, always perfect. There was no room for mistakes or carefree attitudes in my life.

**Lisa's POV**

I wasn't even supposed to be on this flight. I had missed my original flight thanks to an impromptu dance-off with some friends and ended up buying a last-minute ticket. And now, I'd just gotten scolded by some uptight businesswoman for sitting in the wrong seat. Fun.

But as I settled into my actual seat, I couldn't help but sneak a glance at her. She was pretty in that high-maintenance, too-busy-for-you kind of way. Her outfit screamed designer, and her expression screamed "do not disturb." But something about her intrigued me. Maybe it was the way she seemed so tightly wound that I just wanted to see what would happen if she loosened up a bit.

I plugged my headphones back in and turned up the music, trying to ignore the unexpected spark of curiosity I felt toward her.

**Jennie's POV**

Of course, it couldn't just be a smooth flight. Barely an hour in, and we were hit with turbulence bad enough to make the plane lurch like a roller coaster. I gripped the armrests, my breath hitching as I fought to keep my composure.

I could feel the panic bubbling up. Flying was never my favorite thing, but I had always managed to keep my fear under wraps. Today, though, the anxiety was clawing at my carefully constructed walls.

Suddenly, I felt a tap on my shoulder. I turned to see the girl from earlier—Lisa, if I remembered correctly from the boarding announcements—giving me a concerned look.

"Hey, you okay?" she asked, her voice surprisingly soft.

I wanted to brush her off, to tell her I was fine, but the words wouldn't come. My fear must have shown on my face because she didn't wait for a response. Instead, she unbuckled her seatbelt and plopped down in the empty seat beside me.

"Look," she said, her tone casual but comforting, "I fly all the time. It's no big deal. Just some bumps in the road, you know?"

I nodded stiffly, trying to focus on my breathing. Lisa started talking—about anything and everything—stories about her travels, her love for dancing, and the crazy adventures she'd been on. It was silly, really, but her words were a welcome distraction from the fear that gripped me.

Before I knew it, I was laughing. Actually laughing, for the first time in what felt like forever. Lisa's carefree attitude was infectious, and for a moment, I forgot about the turbulence, my meetings, and the endless pressure of my job. I just listened to her, letting her pull me out of my own head.
