**Prologue**At the prestigious Seoul International University, a world where wealth and status define everything, Jennie Kim stands out as an ordinary girl among the elite. She's hardworking, stubborn, and determined to carve her own path in life, refusing to let the glitz and glamor of her privileged classmates distract her. However, she soon crosses paths with Lisa Manoban, the leader of the infamous F4—a group of four powerful and wealthy students who rule the campus with their charm, arrogance, and money.
Lisa, known for her hot temper and cold demeanor, immediately clashes with Jennie, whose fiery spirit refuses to bow down to anyone. But what starts as a battle of wills quickly turns into something more, as Lisa finds herself drawn to Jennie in ways she never expected.
**Chapter 1: Clash at First Sight**
**Jennie's POV**
Seoul International University was nothing like I expected. The campus was enormous, the students were all dressed in the latest designer clothes, and luxury cars lined the parking lot. I couldn't help but feel out of place, clutching my second-hand backpack and wearing clothes from last season.
Still, I was determined not to let it bother me. I had worked hard to get into this university on a scholarship, and I wasn't going to let anyone make me feel inferior. As I navigated through the busy halls, I couldn't help but overhear whispers and excited chatter about the infamous F4.
"They're the rulers of this school," one girl gushed. "Especially Lisa Manoban. She's drop-dead gorgeous, and her family is loaded."
I rolled my eyes, brushing off the comments. I didn't care about the F4 or their spoiled, privileged lives. I just wanted to focus on my studies and stay under the radar.
But my hopes of a peaceful school life were dashed when I accidentally spilled coffee on Lisa's designer shoes during lunch. The cafeteria went silent as everyone turned to see Lisa's reaction. Her piercing gaze locked onto mine, and I could feel the weight of her reputation bearing down on me.
"Do you know how much these shoes cost?" Lisa asked, her voice dangerously calm.
I met her glare with equal intensity, refusing to back down. "Maybe you should watch where you're walking," I shot back, my heart pounding in my chest.
A murmur of disbelief rippled through the crowd. No one ever talked back to Lisa Manoban, and I could see the surprise in her eyes. But instead of lashing out, Lisa simply smirked, her expression one of amused interest.
"You've got guts, Jennie Kim," she said, leaning in closer. "Let's see how long that lasts."
**Chapter 2: The Red Card**
**Lisa's POV**
Jennie Kim. She was different from anyone I had ever met at this school. Most people cowered at the sight of me, but not Jennie. She stood her ground, and that fiery spirit of hers intrigued me more than I cared to admit.
The next day, I decided to test her resolve. As the leader of F4, it was customary to give a red card to anyone who crossed us—a warning that they were officially a target. It was all in good fun, a way to remind everyone who was in charge. But when I saw Jennie's defiant gaze as I approached, I knew this would be different.
I flicked the red card onto her desk, smirking as I watched her reaction. Instead of fear, there was only defiance in her eyes. "You think this scares me?" she asked, holding the card between her fingers.
I shrugged, leaning casually against the desk. "It should. You've made an enemy out of me, Jennie. And I don't lose."
Jennie scoffed, crumpling the card in her hand. "I don't care about your games, Lisa. I'm here to study, not to play along with your rich-kid drama."
