"Why?.. I wasn't with him this time, but why is he involved in accident?..It's all because of me..." Samanvi was muttering and crying quietly.
Gautham, who was standing so close to her, gazed at her in confusion, unable to grasp what she was saying.
"Athige.." Ganavi observed Samanvi, who was blaming herself.
"Pass me the water bottle..." Chinmayi asked Saanya, then took a bottle from her and handed it to Ashwini.
"No.." Ashwini shook her head and took deep breaths to calm herself down. She gazed at her twins, who were confused.
"Maa..are you hurt?" Nikhila was the first to ask her mother.
Ashwin remained silent, patting her head with a tiny smile. She doesn't know why; her heart tells her to think everything will be fine.
"Samanvi..shh..calm down, Ammu." Kaveri approached her daughter and attempted to stop her. But she was crying along with her.
"Subbu.. I think you should reconsider this alliance," a relative said Subbalakshmi, who rolled her eyes.
"Don't you think this accident is something bad?" The relative spoke loudly enough to be heard by everyone.
Gautham expected Subbalakshmi to listen to that relative and cause a scene, but he was surprised.
"Shut your mouth," Subbalakshmi stared at the relative.
"Came for my son's engagement. Bless, eat, and leave. Don't interfere with my daughter-in-law's family affairs." Subbalakshmi's voice was like snake venom, which made the relative seal her mouth.
Gautham gazed at her with amazement. Why not. He knew that Subbalakshmi was more likely to listen to others than to her sons. He chuckled with disappointment.
Varun brought the chair and made Samanvi to sit; he kneeled in front of her, held her hand in his, and said, "Ammu."
"Anna..he.. that accident...anna..take me there...please..." Samanvi was in tears.
"Shh... Okay, Okay I'll take you there. First, calm down. See, Saanya is concerned about you." Varun spoke calmly, but deep inside he was terrified of what could happen.
"Hello Vishwa." Krishna's words boomed throughout the temple.
"Y-yes. Which hospital did you mention earlier?" Vishwanatha tried to remain cool while answering him.
"What hospital?" Krishna questioned.
Getting others to remain silent and hear him. Ashwini approached Vishwanatha and stood close enough to hear his voice clearly.
"The person inside the car, which I mentioned earlier, said his car was involved in an accident." Vishwanatha explained.
"Oh, not to worry." Krishan responded and said, "Because that car was the last to collide with the truck. The person who was driving the car is safe."
After hearing Krishna, everyone there sighed a sigh of relief.
"Thank you, Narasimha Swamy, for saving my kid. I'll be visiting you with my children...bless them," Gowramma pleaded through delighted tears.
"They are safe!" Ashwini felt as if a massive rock had been lifted from her heart.
"What hospital is he in? Varun, take the car; we will go to the hospital." Siddalingha asked Vishwanatha and told Varun to get the car as he grabbed the hem of this white vesti/panche and walked to the exit.
"Anna, even I will come." When Samanvi noticed Varun was about to depart for the hospital, she grabbed his wrist and begged.
"Krishna, to which hospital are they admitted?" Vishwanatha asked.
