I'm going with Vistara Airlines. It's been 7 hours, leaving me with 24 hours more to go. I didn't even sleep last night. We were all awake, actually. I was packing my bags with Khasmira, Kesar, and Swayam all around. Dadi was telling me to pack the needed food items, Chachu bringing the suitcases, Dad with the settlements, and Chachi ordering me to put the extra luggage that I'll definitely not need.
I'm going to miss them, but not more than India. I love them.
It was a mess, as usual, with continuous banterings of swayam and kesar, Mamma's overpossiveness, Chachi's comments, Chachu's jokes, Dadi's orders, Dad's constant phone calls, and Dadu's silence.
Kashmira was the only one actually helping me out. She seemed a bit dozed off. I wanted to have a proper conversation with her, but in all that rush I forgot and wasn't able to. Mental reminder to talk to her when I land.
With all that buzziness, I bid them goodbye, my sweet family, but then forgot and ran back to kiss Dadu's cheeks and give him a miss you hug, and ran back to the cab. Only dad came to see me off, lecturing me the whole ride about all the wareabouts. At 1:00 am in the morning, everything was dark, with warm lights in between the roads. Too peaceful.
And at the last, dad told me to take care, and I said you too.
I will miss them, but hey, it'll be 6 months only. It'll be over in a snap. I better make it worth it.
I open my phone and connect to in-flight Wi-Fi. The first person I text is Kashmira.
