'Why can't I just escape from reality?... '
Ray thought before falling asleep...

Ray groaned, getting up. His body felt sore, his mind spinning. His memory was foggy, he had a dream. Yet, he doesn't remember a single thing about it. All he knew is that, he dreamt of something. Yet he dosent remember, it confuses him. He dosent understand, that he knew he dreamed of something . But never remembering a single thing

It scares him, he doesn't know why. His brain kept trying to some logical explanation. It could be that, he has bad memory, or his mind doesn't want to remember it. Everything, everything was too much. It scares him.

Ray was always thought, that everything. Has a logical explanation, every small inconvenience, has a logical explanation. But no matter, in what way he tries to find an logical explanation, for his situation. It just never came, it still confuses him.

Ray groaned, he left his room.  And headed to the kitchen, he knew he had a herbal tea in the cabinets. It usually helps with his headache's, so as he reached up to the cabinets. He was suddenly struck with a painful migraine, he held his head. He leaned on the wall, trying to relieve his migraine.

"Mreow~"  Wang called out, causing Ray to snap out of his daze. Ray looked up, seeing pet's staring back at him. Ray looked at clock at the wall, seeing that 30 minutes had pass.

Ray sighed, reaching out to the cabinets. Grabbing the bag of herbal tea, and grabbing some pet food. He went to the food bowls, and poured some pet food into it. And he then puts the bag of pet food back in the cabinet. He then grabbed a kettle, and boiled water. He puts a tea bag in his mug, and leaned on the counter. Waiting for the water to boil, he grabbed a random book . He opened it, and started reading it.

Ray poured the boiling water into his mug, and waited for the tea to simmer. He looked at the tea, his expression blank. He felt more, empty, hollow than usual. He was confused, but it doesn't hit him. He still felt lost, and confused, yet he dosent acknowledge it.

Ray looked up at the ceiling, lost in thought. Before stood up, mug in hand. He went to his couch, and sat down, putting his mud on the coffee table. He grabbed the remote, turning the TV on, simply watching whatever was on.

His pet's went up to him, seemingly seeking attention. Ray hummed, petting them as his eyes looked into the TV screen. He was still lost in thought, he still felt the lingering eyes on him. The hairs on the back of his neck, stood on end. Yet he didn't acknowledge it, he kept his composure calm and relaxed.

Ray felt a shiver go down his spine, he felt like an ominous presence was nearby. By his pet's reaction, they seem to have sensed it too. Ray stood up, his tea long forgotten. He wandered around his home, a baseball bat in hand. Making sure nothing ambush's him, he swiftly and quietly inspected his home. Checking of any signs of a brake-in, but found nothing.

Ray sighed, he lowered his bat. He searched his entire house, yet found nothing. He looked at his pet's, noting that they were... Calmer to say the least, Ray sighed. Before going back to sit on the couch, he sat there contemplating on what to next. He looked at his PC, he looked at the red beeping dot on the face cam, it was on..

It slightly freaked Ray out, he doesn't ever remember turning his face cam on. It was always off, he rarely used it, so it naturally it creeped Ray out. He walked towards his PC, turning his face cam off, and making sure nothing else was tampered with. Ray looked under the table, making sure nothing's out of place down there.

Ray's body tensed, seeing an unfamiliar book. He dosent understand why he felt tense, it just happened out of instinct. As if his body knew, he reached out to the book. Touching the book's spine, noting how expensive it both looks and felt. He paused, before pulling away. Leaving the book under the table, he backed away. Before turning away, and heading to the backyard. He still felt tense, uneasy but detached. As if he was, observing his body move in third person. He wasn't in control, yet he doesn't react. It felt.. Normal.

He knew it shouldn't feel normal, but it did. He walked towards his couch, he sat their in silence. His consciousness slowly slipping, 'weird... I'm not one to pass out.. Hmm.. I'm tired... ' he thought, before resting his head. Slowly falling unconscious.
