In Between (One short story)

Chapter 13

Walking in paced Vivian walks behind him made her to face his back, as she observe him that was fell in dead silence. He doesn't bother to ask or to gazing around as well he stayed focus on walking made her to feel awkward, they been like strangers that walking together.

They park his car in some area, then took their way for a walked as they needed to gather interview with some unknown people invite for an short interview, gathering information from couples on how they relationship starts and what is the thing they experienced saying that their was in love or felt love, as they're study focuses on how love grows or evolved into person.

In some hours ago of walking earlier, they got some information from the respondents their encounter that they taken of some interviews.

"Red.."
Vivian utter made him finally to glance at her quickly.

"Yes?"

"Can we just take few rest...my feet hurts"
She said catching up her breathe as they walked in paced earlier because of him taking his steps rushly.

"We needed to gather more"
He simply stated made her to sigh of disbelief didn't able to complain then have no choice,
soon she continues to walk with him still place behind him.

After an hours of walking, she didn't bare to continue walking as she feel her feet in pain also the panting of her breath upon walking made her to paused then settled herself sitted at the empty bench while Red noticed her made him to approach her that was already sitted at the bench.

Vivian looked up as she noticed him standing infront.

"J-ju..st a m..inute,
p-please?.."
She said visible her tiredness in her facial, relaxing her breathing for a while.

"How can we gather data if you keep taking a rest"

"Well..do you think we can gather data if I'd feel horribly panting?"
She restorted made him to stared at her does not have option but to let this girl taken her rest.

Taking up herself to stand then doing enhaled and exhaled mediation before she turn her gaze to look at him after she find him already looked upon her observing her behavior doing that mediation.

"Done?"
He said once he noticed him somehow calmed, as she divert her gazed to him while ago fell shy to they're sudden colliding stared. Vivian nod her head respond to him while looking around distracted herself to avoid him noticed her being shy infront him.

"Give me the keys"
Vivian blurted out turned her gazed facing him, displayed her widen eyes with an surprised facial expressions.

"What?! a... a-a K-kiss? y-you ask...f..f-for a kiss?"
She said horribly stuttering made him to stares at her confused after a while, sunk her words towards his stated words.

Red unintentionally formed a smiles that he controls to continue crack up in chuckles, thinking her epic thoughts made him to felt some goodvibes.

How can she thinks that way?....

On the other hand Vivian keep on looking at him confused of his sudden smile but she unintentionally hook to that smile found his smile different from usuals.
Suddenly she felt something inside her when she see him smiles that she concluded bright and stunned, made her to think that his smile is barely to be seen but fortunately she had a chance to saw him.

His smile...

Huh?! wait no...no! no!..

But why he smiling?

As she keep staring at him he noticed that she just looking at him, somehow he retrieve himself composed his persona from his usual clearing his throat.
