kickoff was once more, isagi was helpless in terms of overthrowing jina's team. so he asked bachira what to do while passing him but the smaller boy just went with his dribbling.

coming towards the girl he grins, thinking he could throw her off with his technique.

and she let him, acting as if he accomplished what he intended only for the girl to quickly turn around and run after him.

surprised by her speed bachira couldn't stand a chance against the girl, her body crouching down only to take the ball with her left foot, kicking it forward towards her brother.

her expression changed for the first time during that game, during the two selections.

„put an end to it, rinnie."

her words set off a bomb they didnt know was existing, the younger boy unintentionally and unknowing to himself sped up, running down the left side before he raked his leg back, shooting their final goal.

the shrill sound was heard yet again, announcing the end of the game before a robotic female voice was heard.

„the match is complete. the results of the three on three battle are; team red wins 5 to 2."

„now it's a question of which of these plebs we should pick." aryu states as he turns to look at the three.

nagi's eyes met her own as she stood at the back of her team, her body half turned. she knew what he was thinking, it was cute and adorable but this was something else, the situation was something else.

'pick me. choose me as your player.'

but when she opened her mouth to let the words flow his eyes dulled just a bit; no not just a bit but a hell lot.

she wanted him to get better, she wanted him to be even better than he already is. jina wanted seishiro to finally take football even more serious.

„i dont really care. pick whoever you like, i suppose."

her brother stood by her side, looking towards the door for the winners without a trace of emotions, „i dont care as well. it wont make any difference."

with that the older siblings began to walk towards the door, her back turned towards the others as aryu finally chose to take bachira.

aryu blabbed on and on before rin finally cut it through, „if you are finished talking then let's get moving. don't go dozing off, bob cut. after all.."
