Chapter 17~❤️

Author's Pov:

As days passed by, the exams finally ended.

Whereas, Aadhyan was always like being confused about Aadrit's behaviour. Aadrit was ignoring him like he didn't even exist whenever the duo ( Hardik and Aadhyan) approached them.

Aadrit was behaving like an annoyed kid. He was avoiding interactions with his bestfriends cause he still needed time to think about all these stuff. Although, he didn't know about Aadhyan's feelings yet, still he was getting irritated day by day about everything. He has never thought about all these kind of feelings and stuff. He had always mentally prepared himself to stay away from these distractions.

Aadrit's Pov:

It has been a weak since exams ended but I am feeling like annoyed everytime. I'm just hella confused. Really... What's wrong with me???

Unable to resist anymore, I approached my bestfriends whom I was ignoring since the last week.

I sat down next to them in the class.

"Guys I'm sorry. I'm just being annoyed. I told you both that I needed a break but still...It's just.. You know what I'm talking about right..?" I said with an annoyed expression.

"Don't worry Aadrit .. Take much time as you want. We're here with you but please don't do anything wrong. We are  always with you." Aarik assured me with a smile.

"Jitna sochna chahta hai soch le .. Jo hona hai voh hokr rhega." Varun said with a smirk.

("Think as much as you want. What's meant to be will be.")

"Thanks Aarik." I replied, completely ignoring Varun's statement.

"Besides, I want to tell you something Aadrit." Aarik added.

"What?" I asked.

"It's.. Actually.. Actually.., I'm dating Aadhyan's bestfriend Hardik." He said while looking down.

"That's great Aarik." I assured him with a smile.

"By the way, when did all this happen?" I asked him.

Just then, he told me everything.. his confession. Whereas, I was just feeling happy for my bestfriend. Aarik definitely is a good person and so is Hardik.

"I knew it that both of my bestfriends will become  a couple soon but I'll always be single. Single life is the best." Varun said proudly.

"Nobody asked about your response. And I'll be in your company so, don't worry." I replied sarcastically.

"Sure..We will see.." He said while  smirking.

Then, we attended our classes. Today, Hardik and Aadhyan didn't come. I know that I was avoiding them but now I'm feeling guilty. I wanna to apologize to them. However, they didn't show up till the school ended.

We were going towards our respective homes.

"I really wanna apologize to Hardik and Aadhyan. I was literally behaving like a jerk." I said.

"It's okay.. They'll understand you. Don't worry." Aarik replied with a genuine smile.

"Yeah..why not. Aarik's boyfriend will surely understand.. Right Aarik?" Varun teased him.

"Yeah.. You're right Varun." I said.

Whereas, Aarik was blushing like a mess. He is surely deep in love with Hardik.

We bid goodbye to each other and reached our respective homes.

I headed to my room and freshen up. I came downstairs and hugged my mom from behind in the kitchen.

"Aww.. my baccha.. Are you okay?" She asked me.

"I'm fine. I just missed my mamma." I replied.

"Dramebaaz ladka." She said and rolled her eyes.

("Dramatic boy.")

I helped my mom in the kitchen . Dad and bhai also came. We started to eat our dinner.

"How were the exams Aadrit?" Dad asked.

"Good papa." I replied.

"And how was your practice?" He asked bhai.
Then, both of them started to talk about some things  related to  sports.

"Well, I have an important thing to tell you all." Dad said.

"Well, we got many new projects this time and also we made good bonding with some American clients. I'm going to throw a party for the whole company's success tomorrow. So, everybody is gonna stay home." He said proudly.

"Congratulations." We said in unison.

"Thanks. And yeah, my business partner Abhinandan will come along with his family. We"ll get to introduce each other face to face." He added.

"Yeah.. why not. I had already met with Aadhyan's mother. We're bestfriends already." Mom said proudly.

"Yeah, but we will get to introduce each other as a family." Dad replied.

"I'll meet Aadhyan . Surely, he  will be gorgeous as he stole my  brother's heart." Bhai whispered near my ear and winked at me.

Whereas, I rolled my eyes at his statement because It's nothing like that. I know that neither he likes me not I like him. But, my bestfriends and  now bhai had gone crazy..

We ate our dinner and headed to our respective rooms.

Tomorrow will be fun but I know I'll get to hear a lot of cheesy comments from my bestfriends as well as bhai.

I called and invited both of them with their respective families which dad had already done but still I had to call my stupid bestfriends personally.

I studied for some hours and eventually, drifted off to sleep.

Aadhyan's Pov:

As my parents told me about the party tomorrow after dinner, I was jumping like a mad person.. It actually means Aadrit will be there too. Oh My God!!! I'm gonna crazyy...

Then, I called my bestfriend ti invite him for the party . He told me to confess my feelings to Aadrit but I was nervous.. I didn't want him to hate me or see me as a disgusted person..

I was so much confused about it. Then, I went to my sister's room and told her everything.

"So, what should I do?" I asked her.

"You should confess your feelings only if you are comfortable. All I just want to say is if you're confident enough to tell him then, you should. But be ready for everything. I'm with you " She assured me.

"You're right di.. I just can't put my feelings inside for a long time. I think I will confess my feelings. I'll be ready to face the consequences. I just can't bottle up my feelings inside. I'll confess to him." I replied.

"I'm with you. Don't worry. Now, go to sleep. Tomorrow is gonna be so much fun." She said excitedly.

"Yeah.." I replied and gave her a hug.

I left her room and drifted into deep sleep while thinking about tomorrow.

I wish tomorrow will be a good day ...~❤️
