Author's POV
It's been a few months since Dunk have joined the team.
After clearing his misunderstandings with Joong, they became good friends.
Dunk is always there to help Joong
with his suggestions.
Usually after the practice they go home together as their houses are in the same direction.
Today also they were going home together.
Dunk was waiting for Joong outside the gym, just when it started raining.
He cursed himself for forgetting to bring an umbrella. But soon he was joined by Joong who had an umbrella in his hands.
"Dude I forgot to bring an umbrella. I don't want to get wet in the rain. I'll get sick and I hate cold."
Dunk whined like a baby.
Joong found that really cute and slowly pat on his head.
"I have one. We can share."
"Are you sure?"
Dunk questioned.
Joong just nodded and opened the umbrella and signalled Dunk to join.
Joong was holding the umbrella, he slightly tilted the umbrella towards Dunk so he won't get wet.
After walking some distance Dunk noticed that Joong's shoulder was getting wet.
He immediately stopped walking.
"Joong, you are getting wet."
Joong looked at him like that was the most normal thing.
"It's fine. I don't mind. I don't get sick easily."
"What are you saying? We literally have an important match this week. There would be scouts present to select people for professional teams. You can't take this lightly."
Dunk was a bit frustrated. He would never be able to forgive himself if because of him Joong fell sick and miss such a great opportunity.
"Alright alright. I didn't think it so deeply."
Instead of saying anything Dunk moved his hand and placed it on Joong shoulder and pulled him close to himself.
There's wasn't even one inch space between them now.
Joong's face turned red and he was speechless.
Dunk took a look at Joong's face before saying.
"See your face is already red. I told you, now if you get sick then what will I do."
Joong tried to compose himself.
"I am not sick. It's okay really. I'll change as soon as I get home and keep myself warm. So don't worry okay?"
Dunk held out a pinky. Joong found it silly but still entertained by joining his pinky to his friend's.
Joong reached the his place first. He asked Dunk to keep the umbrella and return it later.
"Go change quickly. Turn on the heat. Drink something hot. Don't play outside."
Dunk was listing everything he possibly could.
Joong was nodding like an obedient student.
*Next day*
Joong had a class early morning.
This was one of the classes he didn't share with Dunk so he was not interested in attending this one.
Being in Dunk's company has become so common for him that his absence feels weird to him.
