Like Lightning generally isn't a popular one for having an almost painfully early 2000s pop sound, but for whatever reason, I really love this song! Seriously, not much beats driving on the highway listening to this song. Also the lyrics are really empowering. I feel like this song may have come from her experiences as a performer, because as a performer myself struggling to get noticed, this one really spoke to me, especially the lines "I'll get my turn if I keep fighting" and "seems that I'm the only one too blind to see the fire inside me".
