The music pulsed through the Rivera house, vibrating the walls as Lexi navigated her way through the crowd of friends, holding a cup of soda. She spotted Brent in the corner with Pierson, his arm casually draped around her shoulders. Lexi grinned to herself. She always knew there was something going on between those two.

"Lexi!" Liv's voice cut through the noise as she waved her over from the couch. A group of their friends were gathered around, and Lexi immediately noticed Andrew sprawled out on one of the couches, a cocky grin on his face. His dark hair fell slightly over his eyes, and his fingers drummed lazily on his thigh. He looked up as she approached, his gaze lingering a second too long, a smirk playing on his lips.

Lexi felt a flutter in her stomach but pushed it aside. Andrew was trouble—charming, good-looking trouble, and she wasn't about to become another one of his admirers.

"Hey, Lexi! Come join us!" Liv called, pulling Lexi into the circle. "We're playing truth or dare."

Lexi hesitated. Truth or dare could get risky, especially with this group. But before she could say no, Liv was already pulling her down to sit beside her. Lexi noticed Andrew's eyes on her, his smirk widening as if he could read her mind.

"Lexi, truth or dare?" Jeremy asked, his eyes twinkling with mischief.

She thought for a moment, deciding to play it safe. "Truth."

Jeremy made a face. "Boring! Okay, who's the last person you thought about before going to sleep last night?"

Lexi felt a slight blush creep into her cheeks. She had been thinking about a lot of things, mainly the ridiculous amount of homework she had, but admitting that would kill the mood. "Gizmo," she said, naming Pierson's adorable dog.

The group groaned, and Lexi shrugged, trying to hide her smile. "What? He's cute."

Andrew's voice cut through the banter, smooth and teasing. "Okay, enough warm-ups. Let's make this interesting." He leaned forward, his eyes locking with Lexi's, challenging her. "I'll go next. And I choose... dare."

A ripple of excitement ran through the group. Everyone knew Andrew wasn't one to back down from a challenge.

Jeremy didn't waste a second. "I dare you to kiss the person in this room you find most attractive."

Lexi's heart skipped a beat. She saw Andrew's eyes flicker, his smirk deepening as he stood up slowly. He scanned the room dramatically, making a show of looking around before his gaze settled back on her.

"Easy," he said confidently, moving toward Lexi. The group fell silent, all eyes on them.

Lexi's eyes widened slightly as Andrew came closer, the teasing look in his eyes turning into something more intense. Her heart pounded in her chest. She knew what was coming but felt powerless to stop it. He stopped in front of her, his hand reaching out to tilt her chin up gently.

The world around them seemed to fade as Andrew leaned in, his lips brushing against hers with a confidence that made her head spin. Lexi's breath hitched, and without thinking, she responded. Her free hand reached up, grabbing the front of his shirt, pulling him closer. Andrew's eyes flashed with surprise before he deepened the kiss, his arms wrapping around her waist, pulling her into him.

The cheers and whoops from their friends brought them back to reality. Lexi pulled away, her face flushed, her heart racing. She looked up at Andrew, whose expression was unreadable, his dark eyes studying her.

"Not bad, Rivera," he murmured, his voice low and slightly husky.

Lexi tried to play it cool, shrugging as if her heart wasn't trying to beat its way out of her chest. "I'd say the same for you, but I wouldn't want to inflate your ego."

Andrew laughed, the sound rich and genuine, catching her off guard. He leaned closer, his breath tickling her ear as he whispered, "Game on, Lex."

As he pulled away, Lexi caught the glint of challenge in his eyes. She knew this was just the beginning, that whatever had sparked between them wasn't going to burn out easily. She felt the heat of his gaze and knew one thing for sure—things were about to get a lot more interesting.
