Chapter 10

Lisanna had a nice dream, but finally awoken. "What?" She asked her herself when she spotted Natsu on the bed with her. 'Oh I remember, he went to sleep over with me.' she thought to herself. Natsu snuggled closer to her.

"Wake up.." Lisanna said. "5 more minutes, or hours, or days....." Natsu said, as he was half asleep. He pulled Lisanna closer to his body and hugged her. Lisanna was flustered.

After a few minutes of sleep, Natsu was fully awake. "Morning Lisanna."He yawned. "M-morning Natsu.." She said, hiding her face in hopes that he wouldn't notice how flustered she was.

"Well, uh, this is awkward." Natsu laughed. "Haha, yeah..." Lisanna agreed. 'He's still hugging me' Lisanna embarrassingly thought. Natsu quickly pulled away from the hug and apologized. "It's fine." She said as she got out of bed.

"Well, I'll go make breakfast." Lisanna suggested. Natsu frowned. "What's wrong?" Lisanna questioned. "Ever since you came back from the hospital, we barely talked to eachother." he complained. "Well if it makes you feel better, I'm free so we can spend the whole day together." she said. "I'm cool with that." Natsu smiled.
~Time Skip~
Natsu and Lisanna were walking around the city while holdings hand. Natsu's stomach started growling. "Can we go eat at someplace?" Natsu asked. "You don't need to ask twice." She giggled as they ran to a random restaurant.

"Table for two, please." Lisanna said. "Aww what a lovely couple." The waiter exclaimed. "We're not a couple.." Lisanna pointed out. "Listen, you don't have to be embarrassed about being in a relationship, in fact couples get a discount today." the waiter smiled.

"What do we do?" Natsu whispered to Lisanna. "I guess we pretend to be a couple, uh, I mean, if you're, uh, cool with that." Lisanna replied. "Hey, if we're doing this for food, I'm cool with it." Natsu smiled.

"Well here's your table." The waiter grinned. "So would you like any drinks?" The waiter asked. After ordering their food, the waiter walked away.

"Just letting you know, I don't really do romance.." Natsu said. "Yeah, but we're gonna have to pretend we're a couple if we want a discount for food." Lisanna said. "Well I don't really mind if it's you I'm 'going out' with" Natsu said. 'Wait is he flirting with me?! No, no..he likes Lucy.' Lisanna thought to herself. "What did you say?" Lisanna asked. "Oh, nevermind." Natsu said, turning around so she wouldn't notice his red cheeks.

'Ok what do I do...it's not like we're really a couple....yet, wait what am I thinking?!" Lisanna thought to herself. "Hey, Lis!" Natsu said, waving his hands across her face. "Oh sorry.." Lisanna apologized. "No I'M sorry, I know why you zoned out and ignore me a lot, it's because I'm awkward, right?" Natsu asked. Lisanna was about to say something but Natsu interrupted. "Save your words, you wasted enough of your breath talking to a loser like me.." Natsu said as he walked out of the diner.

"Wait! Natsu!" Lisanna said, jumping out of her seat. 'When did he get so dramatic?' Lisanna wondered. "Well here's your dish, wait where's your date?" The waiter asked. "Sorry, he and I aren't really dating, I'll pay full price!" Lisanna said. She gave the waiter some money and ran off to Natsu.

She looked around the crowed city and spotted a salmon haired boy. "Natsu!" She yelled. She ran to him, but it was too late, he already went to a taxi to drive him home.

"So he ran away?" Erza asked. "I never knew he was so dramatic.." Lucy said. Lisanna was too sad to reply. She kept on staring at the ground. "Well, I say you give up on him, go find someone new..." Erza suggested. "Hey, Valentine's Day is coming soon, maybe you can find someone special." Levy said. Lucy shook her head, being Lisanna's best friend the longest compared to the other girls, she knew that Lisanna doesn't give up that easily.
