Chapter 19

A/N: Hello! I'm back. Just letting you guys know I'm not so good with writing drama so I'll give this a shot and its Nali week, so let's fangirl over that :D

"Hi Lis." Natsu greeted. Lisanna was sitting on her porch, enjoying the evening breeze.

She looked up and looked into his eyes for a few seconds. She quickly turned away from the gaze, with a tint of pink on her cheeks.

"I wish everything was like back then." Natsu said. "Yeah, when we were just friends and nothing more." Lisanna said.

"Ouch, that hurt." Natsu sighed. "Why do you hate me so much?" He asked. "The question is why not." Lisanna countered.

"You're no fun." He said. "Tragic." Lisanna said sarcastically. "Don't you ever get lonely?" Natsu asked. "Don't you ever stop asking questions?" Lisanna replied.

"Can we at least still be friends?" Natsu questioned. Lisanna sighed in frustration. "I guess.." She responded.

Natsu smiled brightly at her response. "Cool." Natsu smiled. He waved goodbye and ran off to who knows where.

'I guess I really did miss him...' Lisanna thought to herself. She smiled. 'What am I thinking? I don't like him. He's just a friend.' Lisanna thought in frustration.

"If you don't like him, does that mean I can take him?" Angel asked. "Angel?! Where did you come from?!" Lisanna asked. "Oh, I was just looking for Natsu." She answered.

"The dork headed that way." Lisanna pointed to the trash can. "Really?" Angel asked. She ran towards the trash can and checked inside. Lisanna facepalmed.

"Laugh all you want." Angel growled. "Anyways, I'm gonna ask out Natsu, seeing that you don't want him." Angel said.

"Don't you dare. He doesn't deserve some one like you." Lisanna said. "Oh really? The poor dude has been chasing after you for the last few weeks. What have you done? You've been rejecting him. Think of how heartbroken he is. If anything, he doesn't deserve a selfish person like you." Angel explained.

Lisanna stood in silence. "I guess you're right.." She finally said. "Of course I am." Angel replied. Angel chuckled and walked away from her.

Lisanna clenched her hands into a fist and cried, not caring that people can see her tears. 'I'm just a heartless, selfish idiot.' She silently thought.

Luckily Lucy was around her range. "Lisanna!" Lucy shouted, trying to get her attention. Lisanna looked up, forcing a smile.

Lucy ran to Lisanna and hugged her. (This is not luli, I repeat not luli) "Am I selfish?" Lisanna asked. "No, Lisanna.  And if this is about Natsu, you aren't selfish for not liking him, everyone can make decisions of their own." She replied.

"Thanks, Lucy." Lisanna said. She wiped away her own tears and smiled. "But what do I do about him?" Lisanna asked. "Just tell him you don't like him, he'll get over you soon." Lucy said. "But I...I do like him..." Lisanna sighed.

"Then why didn't you tell him?" Lucy asked. "I was unsure at the time." She explained. "You have plenty of time to ask him out!" Lisanna reassured her. "But, Angel is already asking him out, it's too late." Lisanna said.

"No it isn't!" Lucy said. She grabbed Lisanna's hand and dragged her to Natsu's place.

"He's not home.." Lisanna mumbled. "Hey, he's probably at the park." Lucy suggested. It pained her to see her friend this sad. She would do anything to get her back in high spirits.

"He's not here either." Lisanna said in disappointment. "What about the ice cream shop? It's the summer and its hot outside, he might be cooling off." Lucy suggested.

As the reached the ice cream shop, they regretted coming there. The sight made Lisanna and even Lucy want to cry.
