We were driving all night. And I couldn't sleep the whole time. Thi king about everything that happend. After a while we found a restaurant next to the road. And Dick stopped there. So we could eat and drink something.

Dick had ordered some black coffee for his self.

" thank you" Dick says to the waitress after she put down the mugs.

" You want a hot chocolate or something?" Dick asks us and I nod

" Okey a hot chocolate for her" he says to the waitress. And she nods

" Just coffee. Black." Rachel answer's

" -I bet they have marshmallows."

" -I'm not a kid, okay?" Racahel says fed up

" Okay. Same for the lady." Dick says smiling at the waitress.

After a while the waitress came back with our drinks.

" mom used to make the best chocolate milk, remember rach, that one time in 4th grade when we were sick. Mom made us chocolate milk and it was the only thing we could drink the whole time we were sick" I say smilling sadly.

" she sounds like an amazing mom" Dick says

" she was" Both me a s Rachel say at the same time.

" mom didn't like me drinking coffee" Rachel says putting alot of sugar in her coffee.

Dick chuckles at Rachel

" Sweet tooth, huh?" Dick jokes but then gets serious again

" Rachelhas anything like...like what happened ever happened before?" He asks

" No. Not like that.I didn't mean to kill that guy." Rachel says sadly

" How did you kill that guy?" Dicl asks. But both Rachel and I only look at him not wanting to talk about it.

" We're gonna go see some
old friends of mine. They're safe.They'll give us a place to lie low
for a second, get our heads together.Figure out what to do next." He says drinking his coffee

" Hey,You're scared. I get it.But sometimes,
there's no time to be scared." Dick says

" No one's gonna get you. Okay? I promise." He says promisesing.

"Where else are we going anyway?" Rachem says with an bored expression.

* time skip*

It was now dark outside. And we stopped at a motel. Rachel and I were sitting on the bed watching game of thrones.

" Hey, you guys want pizza?" Dick asks putting on his jacked we both nod.

" cab I come with you?" I ask nervously.

" sure" he says smiling.

He then looks at Rachel.

" Anything on it?" He asks but doesn't get an answer.

" Don't let anyone in."

"Is that Game of Thrones?Should you be watching that?" He asks skeptical

" Just don't get pineapple on it"

"Obviously" Dick says smiling before waking out the door. I loom at Rachel again.

" you gonna be Okey in you're own?"

" yes Athena I'll be fine. I'm the older one I should be worried about you" she says Chuckling. I smile and walk after dick.

I walk outside and I see Dick on the phone.
