Natalie slowly started to blink awake with something cold pressed against her head. As soon as her vision came back to her she shot up hoping that it was all a dream.
"Hello?" Natalie said, hoping to get somebody's attention or something's attention. She looked around and she was in a room, a more comfortable bed than her own on the ship. She lifted the blanket off her legs so she could look around, she saw a small table with a note and some flowers on it. Natalie took the note and read it hoping to find something about where she was or what was going on, after she finished reading the note she noticed a pair of pants and a shirt then she realized her armor was gone.
"Well, it's good to see you awake!" Someone said in a cheerful tone.
"Who are you!? Where am I!?" Natalie yelled at the shadow trying to get answers. The voice just laughed, as they slowly stepped out of the shadow revealing a tall, slender man with ears and a tail.
"Woah.." Natalie said speechless. He laughed again, this time softer.
"Don't worry I won't hurt you," He said walking up to Natalie, resting on the bed frame pole.
"My name is Cal," Cal said in a soft tone.
"My name-" Natalie said, stopping short.
"Iris!!" Cal yelled as she appeared out of the air, running up to her and swinging her around. Iris laughed softly.
"So Iris, can you tell me what's going on?" Natalie said in confusion.
"I'm so sorry! I went out to get you some food!" Iris said in a very cheerful tone, walking to Natalie and offering her a hand. Natalie is hesitant at first when she takes it.
"Where are we?" Natalie asked as Iris led her to her clothes.
"Oh well, this is Cal's home. He lives in town! I can't be here due to some things but I wanted to make sure you were okay!" Iris said, sounding sad as she mentioned something about the town. Natalie got changed into her new clothes. After Natalie came out of the changing room looking at Cal smiling there was someone else there instead of Iris.
"Don't worry Natalie, this is Iris, she's just wanted to stay hidden in town so her name now is Isabella only in town!" Cal said happily. Natalie took a glance at Iris or Isabella, she was a werewolf with long black hair white bangs, and red eyes. Natalie looked into her eyes and she got scared as they showed her on the ship giving her nightmares.
"Ahhh!!" Natalie screamed at the top of her lungs, getting dazed in her eyes. Iris looked away.
"Sorry.." She mumbled under her breath.
"No no, it's okay Iris, I just-" Natalie said, getting stopped short by Cal.
"Natalie, she is the Ultima werewolf," Cal said, hugging Iris. Natalie walked over to Iris, hugging her. Natalie whispered to Iris.
"We can go into town now Iris.." Natalie spoke softly.
"O.. okay.." Iris said softly. Just as she finished someone burst down the door scaring all of them.
"Oh my god dude! Why did you do that!?" Cal said, filling with rage.
"Sorry, not sorry!" He said yelling then looking at Natalie.
"What's your name?" He said taking Natalie's hand and kissing it. Natalie's face turned bright red.
"Well, first my name's Natalie! But what's yours?" Natalie said.
"My name is Jax," Jax said in a flirty tone. Natalie backed up away from Jax looking at Iris.
"Ir- Isabella can you show me around the town?" Natalie spoke almost in a whisper. Jax looked at Iris and gave a quick bow.
"Uh sure Natalie, I loved to show you around!" Iris said cheerfully. As Iris and Cal walked out the door Jack stopped Natalie before she could follow.
"Hey Nate, just watch out for witches they cursed our town," Jax said in a sharp tone, walking to catch up with Iris and Cal. As they caught up with them they passed a wolf pack.
"Good morning alpha!" They yelled in excitement. As they yelled, Iris and Cal waved at them. When they got to the water fountain, Iris started to feel weak and soon she passed out.
"Isabella!" Call yelled, reaching down and carrying Iris as everyone started to run over to help.
"So what happened to her?" Natalie said, pacing around the room as Iris lay silently in the bed.
"Someone threw or did something with wolfsbane," Cal said, sitting by Iris, pressing a cold washcloth against her head.
"But it's weird because she's n- the Ultima and usually, wolf bane doesn't hurt the Ultima," Cal said filling with rage.
"I'm going to step out quickly," Natalie said in a hurry.
"Okay just be careful," Cal said quietly. Once Natalie got outside she looked down at her hands. "I must have had wolfsbane on my hands or maybe some on my armor.." Natalie said, questioning herself.
"Nate there you are!" Jax yelled running over to hug her.
"Is Isabella okay? How is she?" Jax said, starting to ask questions at rapid speed.
"Hey hey she is okay," Natalie replied calming him down.
"The whole wolf pack is worried about her!" Jax said, running into the house.
"Cal Cal!!" Jax called looking through the house.
"We're up here!" Cal yelled to Jax. Jax ran up the stairs to find Cal and Iris. Natalie followed Jax upstairs.
"Cal, have you tried to kiss her!?" Jax asked looking out for Cal who started to blush.
"I mean I-" Cal stammered with his face turning bright red and his tail starting to go.
"Just do it, Cal," Jax said to Cal.
"Okay okay I'll try!" Cal said starting to lean into Iris. Natalie stood behind Jax.
"What is that supposed to do?" Natalie asked Jax, looking at Cal.
"Well it usually works with problems like this," Jax said in a calm manner.
"J.. Jax we have to get to the spell pool.." Cal said getting scared and tearing up.
"Wait, why? Oh okay, I'll get the pack! Nate, stay here!" Jax yelled, turning into a werewolf running down the stairs.
