Chapter 2: Promise

NOSAKA'S POV:

I was sitting on the hospital bed reading a soccer megazine, when Asuto-Kun, Haizaki-Kun, and Nishikage walked in to my room. I looked up to them with a bright smile

Asuto: Heyyyy Nosaka!!! How are you doing?

Yuuma: I am doing well! Thank you guys for dropping by to visit

Haizaki: Hey don't take your time in America and have fun there!! Come back as soon as you can so you can join us for Inazuma Japan!

Yuuma: *laugths* Haizaki-Kun, don't you think you're a little bit ahead of yourself? They haven't even announced the representatives yet.

Asuto: Besides you can't tell him rush back here after a surgery! That's cruel!! He needs to rest and recover before coming back to us

Haizaki: Pffft... Yeah whatever!! I just hope your surgery will go well.

Nishikage: Haizaki! Don't you think you are being very loud??? Just be a little ore quiet and let Nosaka-San rest!

Yuuma: Hahaha! Don't worry Nishikage. I am fine really.

Later they all left except for Nishikage as he went to get us somthing to eat for lunch. I suddenly remembered Anna-San again. Will she come to visit me before I leave? I really want to see her once again... Just in case I would never return. I don't know why but I really want to see her and hold her between my arms. I want to tell her how much I want her to stay by my side and never leave me. I... I want to see her again...

My thougths were cut short when Nishikage came with two trays in his hands. He handed me a try and I put it on the table. Then I turn towards him and smile

Yuuma: Thanks Nishikage

Nishikage: No problem Nosaka-San.

He smiled back at me

ANNA'S POV:

Even though it has been a couple days now, I still can't seem to forget about Nosaka-Kun. I know it is better to forget him... But how do I do that when I really love him.

Suddenly I remembered that Nosaka-Kun will be leaving to America in a few days for surgery. I want to go see him before he leaves but I think I would feel uncomfortable if I go to see him. But if I won't go to see him at least I want to get him something that reminds him of me. I don't know why but I want him to think of me when he is away from home doing his surgery...

Later that day I went out to a soccer shop, and got him a pendent that has a silver chain and a black stone in shape of a square connected to it. I have seen him wearing a pendent before so I hope he likes it.

Then I picked up a neat card and wrote the following on it:

Nosaka-Kun,

I hope you get well soon! Recover fully and then come back to Japan ready to play soccer even stronger than before. I also hope that you would like my little gift. I want you to always look at it ad remember that you have someone who cares about you...

Forgive me for not visiting you, I just couldn't come...

When I finished writing the letter on the card, I put the card and the pendent in a small gift box and then I rushed to the hospital. At first, I thought that I should go in to his room and check up on his personaly, but then I decided to just give the giftbox to the nurse and ask her to give it to him instead of me. Otherwise, I am afraid it would be awkard and uncofortable to go to him now.
