The Heroine Hurts

4 years later and everything has fallen into place.

Human farms where the criminals are placed. More open communication between the two species. During the day, humans roam the most, and in the night, the vampires run the city. Both passively live together and in harmony.

They have no choice.

Anyone who opposes me is quickly and swiftly sentenced to death. I am the tyrant queen who brought them all the peaceful time of the land. Little do they know I'm planning on drowning it all in choas. Once I'm the Kings link, there will be no stopping me. As long as the King is alive, I will have no way of dying either.

A slight problem still stands in my way.

Jackson remains by the side of the King despite what he's told me all those years ago. Though he's now engaged to Marinette.

Which is surprising as we keep coincidencdly finding each other alone to somehow make out. His hands were trying to go under my dress and press me into him. The way his tongue moves around my tongue and presses into the back of my teeth. At this point, I want to be devoured. I want him to sink himself into my body to see if his movements are the same as well.

No, I clearly don't care about that anymore, or else I would have been asked. Or maybe I already know it?

I flinch as he bites into my lip to draw blood.

"Ah~ careful..."

"I apologize, my lady mhm...how could the prince not make you his link with this red wine from your lips, and smooth pearls of your skin..."

"Mm...he wanted to make sure the kingdom is completely fine, and he's struggling with his grief."

"Wouldn't his fear of you dying force him to push for that?"

I sigh and break away from Jackson, "I know. It's annoying.  He thinks that becoming his link without knowing the kingdom will be in good hands is dangerous. "

"Everyone already think you are link, that's why they leave us alone."

"I don't get what he's thinking either. Grief is a funny thing...." I pause, "Is it possibly... that he already had a link?"

"No. Not possible. I would know -" Jackson bites his lip.

"Is he cheating on...me?" I grab Jackson by his collar and pull him down to my level. I grind my teeth and let out a growl. I looked up at him with a deep glare.

"N-no, it's just....remember back then...the whole Lady Lillian situation?"

I loosen my grip, "I forgotten about that bitch...tch! What does she have to do with any of this the fuck?!"

"It's possible...the two of them may have accidentally linked-"

"What the fuck do you mean?!" I slap him across the face, "SPIT IT OUT!"

"Ack....god....it's really your fault you know..." Jackson mutters.

"Excuse me?!"

"All it takes to be a link is to mix blood with a vampire and cast an indication with both parties sharing a thought."

" why would my husband want to share a thought with that bitch?"

"I didn't think much of it then...but long ago, King Ivan and Lady Lillian mixed their blood often as young childern- to the then Prince dismay."

I slap the other side of his face making his head turn the other way. He huffs a bit and touches his face annoyed. I spit on him and raise my hand again as a threat.

"...what does it have to do with that day?!"

"It's possible Lady Lillian did the indication while both were deeply wishing for your well-being."

"...m-my well being?!"

"Depsite what you've thought of her. She truly didn't want to kill you. And based on what she said, you attack her first. I was the only one among many to clearly believe."

"Ach...Is that bitch still alive?!"

"Of course..."

"She's...?"

"In the King shame, she's most likely living on the out side of the village.  But that's simply a guess, of course."

I let go of Jackson annoyed.

"Then..."

"Would you like me to be your link?" Jackson asks.

"You're lying." I deadpan.

"Ask him then."

"I WILL." I walk out of the office and slame the door behind me.

Rushing over to the King throne room.

I grind my teeth and head over in front of the king.

"What's wrong, my beautiful queen?" He sounds tired and drained.

"You fucker!" I could hardly contain my anger.

"Celeste...?" He sits up straight seeing my demeanor.

"Is Lillian your link!?"

I hear a few gasps from around me.

The king eyes go wide as he frantically gets onto his feet and rushes down to me.

"My Queen who-"

I slap his hand away and growl, "The fuck is wrong with you?! Why didn't you tell me? How can you keep this all from  me?!"

"I... I didn't want it to ruin our relationship...?"

"Why do you sound uncertain?! You can't even make other vampires' your links!"

"Lillian is only half vampire..."

"She- that was ever mentioned in the fucking book!"

"I...I understand your anger but please...let's take this else where-"

"If thats how it's going to be...THEN I WILL MAKE SOMEONE ELSE MY LINK"

I run off while he calls out to me. Tears streamed down my face. I didn't do all of this for nothing! I didn't! My crown falls from my head behind me. And I bump into Jackson again. I've fallen onto my ass again and crying out. I rub my eyes and nose from the impact of his hard chest.

"Fuck!"

"I heard everything you know." Jackson offers a hand.

"Tch... whatever. "

"I'm always loyal to you, Lady Celeste." Jackson kisses the back of my hand while helping me up.

"Mm. Will you kill the King for me then?" I say in a hush but harsh tone. Grinning and furrowing my brows up.

"You have that expression... I can't kill Ivan. And you know why."

"War, chaos, anarchy! It's clear those people see me still as second in command to that man. The only way I'll be able to overstep him and rule with complete power..." I laugh.

"...."

Jackson stares at me and kisses me. I stare at him, letting him push into me. I slowly twitch and close my eyes completely. I melt into the kiss and let his hands explore my body against the wall. Our heartrates matching up.

He breaks the kiss for a brief moment, "I love you."

In a breathless state of mind, I repeat the phrase back thinking of the bond we're about to create. The door opens up behind us, and we fall back into the random room. The door is closed by Jackson foot.

The two of us continue to heal within our loving embrace. This time, it didn't hurt. It feels comforting even.

I hear his heated words in my ear, "An angel sent from the heavens, yet your wings covered in muck from your past sins. It doesn't matter to me because I love you, my Dark Angel. The villianness heroine."

I chuckle at his words as we rub our noses together.

Purring and sweetly talking to each other as the embrace deepens.

Him sinking into me.
