"Beomgyu  bring me the details !!" Jin yelled from his seat at the black haired male who was peacefully playing video games on his phone. Beomgyu groaned as he got up taking the files and placing them on Jin's desk. He meets hoseok.

"Oh hobi hyung how have you been ?" He asked , his eyes sparkling a little. Apparently beomgyu liked hoseok a lot not like that though, he just admired hoseok and respected him.

"Not so fine" hoseok says as he sat down besides Jin. Beomgyu just smiles turning around he met yoongi.

"Ah Annyohaseo !" Beomgyu bows to yoongi before leaving.

Yoongi nods as he looked over to hoseok.

"I'm leaving I've got work ," yoongi says and without hearing the younger he left. Hoseok stared at yoongi's disappearing figure before turning his attention at Jin.

"So he's just a friend ?" Jin asked looking through the files.

"Yeah just a friend ! " Hoseok mumbled.

"Here , these are the pictures !" Jin showed hoseok all the photographs beomgyu had taken secretly.

Hoseok scans the photos carefully, looking around the photos to find anything suspicious.

"Hmm it doesn't seem like a normal case does it ? "He asked Jin. Jin nods

"Yes it's doesn't, no matter how hard the chief says it's just a normal case I don't think so , my hunt is telling me something else ...... Something that we're missing ! " Jin says as he bites his finger nails.

"It does seem a little suspicious if we think about it thoroughly. Say the accident happened then why would he have stabs " hoseok whispered. Jin looked at surprised.

"You've noticed ?" He asked

"Yeah of course you can see it right through this picture, there's multiple stabs and he also a big hole on his back which means he was stabbed on his back with something big obviously ! "

"Yes , and that's why I'm stressed ! I'm sure it's not just any normal case we have to look carefully !" Jin says as he grabs a picture. Hoseok looked at the picture curiously.

"What's that ?" He asked

"This is the victim's brother and only family." Jin placed the picture Infront of hoseok.

"His name was san , and this is his brother mingi." Jin points at the young looking boy.

"So the victim's name is san ?" Hoseok asked taking a closer look.

"Yes and his only brother mingi , you don't even know how desperate mingi was to find his brother's killer. He wants justice !! We have to help him hoseok". Jin says softly

Hoseok expression becomes boring.

"Yeah yeah we'll help him" he speaks in a boring tone. Jin looked him at curiously

"Say hoseok why did you decided to take this case ? You literally rejected me when I took this case to you !! Then why now ?" Asked Jin. Hoseok widens his eyes slightly.

"W-well , I uh I wanted to do something good ?" Hoseok says nervously praying Jin would buy his lie. Jin looked skeptical but smiled immediately

"I knew you were a good person in heart , you did the right thing hoseok !! We should help the poor to give them justice !!" Jin cheers. Hoseok laughs nervously

"Yeah yeah that's right .." he says

"So have you talked with the mayor yet ?" Jin asked

"No but I'll be" hoseok said with a serious expression.

"Alright fighting !! " Jin shows his thumps up as hoseok got up.

"Yeah whatever " he mutters. He takes some extra files with him as he hears out of the police station going over to his car.

He sits on his car taking a deep breath.

"Ok hoseok you got this ! You just have to go and tell the mayor that you're dropping from the case , yeah that's right ! And you'll give the money back ! But why the money ?!!? Can't I keep it ?? Urghhhh !!!!!"  Hoseok talks with himself before starting the engine going over to the mayor's house.

He stops his car , getting out and fixing his tie as he entered the house.

"Ah hoseok what are you doing here ?" The mayor spoke with a happy tone. Hoseok looked at him with hesitation.

"Mr. Mayor I'll be dropping from this case !" He goes straight to the point with his cold voice and a slight smile plastered on his face. He watches the mayor  being shocked.

"Why so suddenly ?! Is it because of the money ? Tell me and I'll give you more !" The mayor asked as he approached hoseok. Hoseok was fighting with himself,

Money was something very dear to hoseok, in his 6 years of work he has never refused a single penny from his clients but here today he has to refuse the huge amount just because he got himself a stupid mission.

He fights the urge to break the mission and take the money but no ! He can't do that he needs to focus. With great difficulty he forces a smile at the mayor.

"No sir it's not about the money , I don't want to take this case ! You can find someone else other than me !" Hoseok speaks through his smile that's hiding his pain of not taking the huge amount.

"What !? You can't do that you've already took the amount !!" Jungkook the mayor's son yells from behind. Hoseok snapped his head towards Jungkook his smile still on his face.

"Yes and I will return the money , but Im dropping from this case, I'm truly sorry Mr. Mayor" he looks at the mayor.

"Sorry ? Fuck your sorry Jung !! I wanted you to take this case and win it and you were all happy taking it but suddenly in the middle of everything you say you don't want to !?? Is this a joke ??!?!!" The mayor speakes with anger.

"Well sir, it's not like I've written a paper about our deal , besides I'll be giving you your money back so why are you being upset ?" Hoseok asked as he looked at the mayor suspiciously.

"What do you mean ? Of course I'm not upset just get out !! I'll find someone better !!!" The mayor ragged at hoseok.

"Jung  if you're dropping this case then you must have found someone else giving you a huge amount ! Tell me how much they're paying you and we'll give you the double !!" The mayor smirks at hoseok.

"No thanks sir , I'm haven't found anyone new I'm being the lawyer of the victim's brother !" Hoseok confessed.

"You ! Being the lawyer of the brother who can't even give a single penny ?? Ha you must be joking ! This isn't the Jung hoseok we know !! " The mayor speakes while laughing. Hoseok looked at him with his cold eyes and a smile.

"Sometimes people change and I'm changing too , trying to be a better person, sir I think I have told that I'm dripping so my work here is done so if you excuse me I have to leave !" Hoseok turned to leave.

"Are you really being a good guy now ? After all the cases you've done ?" The mayor asked.

"You can say that ..." Hoseok smiled as he left the mansion.

"Urghh Fuck !!!" The mayor yelled as he threw things. Where would he find a good lawyer like hoseok ? Hoseok was indeed one of the best lawyers out there, he was cunning and charming and had his ways. If he loses hoseok then he would have to find someone else....
