TWO

Just when hoseok was about to get in his car he was called from a distance.

He turned to see a broad shoulders , handsome in a police uniform coming towards him with a smile. Hoseok rolled his eyes.

"Ah crap here we go again !" He mutters under his breath.

"Hey hoseok !" Jin says approaching him.

"Hello officer Kim ! Not so lovely to see you !" Hoseok smiles as he stands besides his car.

"Haha it's good to see you too sweetie !
Hey ah I know you're in a hurry but I have a favor to ask ! "

"And what that might be ? "

"Well Im pretty sure you've seen what happened last night ! " Jin says with a serious expression.

"You mean the mayor's son's accident ? Yeah I have "

"Well this morning we were supposed to investigate but the mayor ordered us not do any further investigation.... But - "

"Nuh uh !" Hoseok cuts Jin off

"When the mayor says to stop the case you stop it no buts ! " He says. Seokjin rolls his eyes.

"Yeah whatever ! Listen the victim had only one brother as his family and his brother is devastated after hearing the news !! Please ,,he wants justice for his brother's death !!" Jin says with pleading eyes.

"What the hell do you want me to do ?" Hoseok asked in irritated.

"Well...... Can you be his lawyer ? " Jin asked with a small smile.
Hoseok frowned his eyes.

"What ?! His lawyer ?" He scoffs

"Why would I be someone's lawyer who doesn't even have a single penny ? Oh come on you've got to be kidding me !" Hoseok with a laugh.

"Hoseok you're thinking about the money again ! It's not about the money , it's about justice ! He wants to fight for his brother ! Please !! Oh do it for me , your  friend !! Seokjin says as he holds hoseok's hands.

Hoseok yanks his hand.

"A friend is not going pay the rent to my apartment would he ?" He asked with a raised brow.

Jin keeps quite.

"That's what I thought ! Now if you excuse me I have to be somewhere !" Hoseok says opening the car door.

"W-well think about it !! " Jin yells as he sees hoseok taking off. He sighs.

"I should've known he's a besterd ! Damn it !!" He yells.

"Ha .. help him to get justice ! What a crap !" Hoseok mocks Jin's words as he drove. His phone rang taking him out if his thoughts.

"What !?" He yells as he picks up the call.

"Sir .. the mayor and his son is in the office they're waiting for you ! " His assistant yeonjun speaks with a nervous voice. Hoseok's face lit up.

"Really ? Alright I'm coming ! Just give me 5 mins I'll be there !" He says as he hung up.

"Hell yeah !!"  Hoseok laughs to himself thinking he's got a big opportunity and he can't let that pass. He drives fast towards his office.

He gets out fixing his suit and tie as he walked towards his office.

"Ah hello Mr. Mayor !! It's so good to see you !" He greets with a smile siting down Infront of the mayor and his son.

"Hello hoseok ! I'm pretty sure you know why I'm here ! " The mayor spoke.

"Well I think I do ! It's about last night's incident right ?" Hoseok asked still smiling.

"Yes it is ! And also after what the brother is doing on the internet ! "

"On the internet ? " Hoseok frowned his brows.

"Why,,? haven't you seen , take a quick look at your phone !" The mayor says. Hoseok quickly takes out his phone and opened Facebook only to see the victim's brother going around with a sign that says I want justice. Hoseok smirks keeping his phone down.

"He's a tough kid I guess ? " He smiles.

"He is ! And we need bring him down ! Since he wants this to go to custody I will take it !! Let's see who wins !" The mayor says through gritted teeth.

"Sir calm down ! You can leave it to me ! I'll do whatever it takes to ensure your son's safety and his public image. " Hoseok says.

"You better ! " The mayor's son almost yelled. Hoseok snapped his head towards the kid.

"Kid don't you know how to talk with elders ?" Hoseok fakely smiles.

"Ajusshi you're only 5 years older than me ! " The kid says

"Ah sorry hoseok this Jungkook my son ! I'm pretty sure you've seen him. " The mayor says.

"Yes of course I've seen him, heard about him and a lot ! But still I think he needs to learn some maners you know .." he looks at Jungkook

"Look at the way he talks with elders.. " he says glaring at Jungkook.

"Ajusshi just do what you've been told !" Jungkook says with a rude tone.

"You little - ahemm " he coughs

"Sir have you prepared any treats ?" Hoseok asked with a smile looking at the mayor.

"Yes ... 5 million !" The mayor replied.

"Well sir ... This is not a easy case. At first I thought it would be easy since there is no cctv cameras around that area but the whe news has seen the blood splattered on the car so it will be a little hard to win this case. " Hoseok says siping his coffee.

"I will have to put a good lie and a good story for this and besides I think you know that - " he leans close

"The more the money the more the effort ....so make it 6 !" He smiles. The mayor hesitate at first.

"6 million you've got to be kidding me !!" The mayor yells.

"I don't make the rules sir !" Hoseok shrugs

"And I also don't like kidding ! " He says with a smile plastered on his face.

"Alright fine ! I'll give you that but .. you have to win !!" The mayor demands.

"Of course " hoseok smiles getting up as the mayor got up as well.

"We'll see you soon sir ! " He says waving goodbye to the mayor.

"See you soon too kid" he says with a fake smile.

Jungkook turns his head and goes out without looking at him.

"What a rude spoiled brat." Hoseok mutters under his breath.

Hoseok was walking happily towards his house since his car broke down but he wasn't angry or sad , that's because today he got a big amount of money offer and if he wins the case he'll never have to worry about his life once again.

He happily skips steps jumping like a kid. It was almost evening. He walks as he thinks about the case. He would have put a lot of effort to win against. While walking hoseok didn't notice the signal turning red indicating not to walk on roads.

Hoseok carelessy started crossing the street untill he perked his head up at a kid shouting telling him to move. Hoseok turns his head Infront only to see a truck coming towards him with full speed.

He wanted to move but it was too late.

THUD

Hoseok falls down with a loud thud getting hit by the truck. Blood coming out of his head as he stared at the crowd.

"I .... D-dont wanna die,  n-not now ! " He mutters weakly before passing out.
