The soft sound of the autumn wind rustled through the trees in Yokohama, carrying the scent of damp earth and falling leaves. On the outskirts of the city, near the quiet harbor, Lucy Maud Montgomery sat on a park bench, her bright blue eyes staring blankly at the glistening sea. In her hands, she held a small, old, and worn-out book.

In the distance, a young man with white hair and golden eyes walked with hesitant steps. Atsushi Nakajima, who had just completed a mission with his colleagues from the Armed Detective Agency, felt the need for a moment of reflection. He noticed Lucy sitting alone and felt there was something intriguing about her.

"Excuse me, am I disturbing you?" Atsushi asked cautiously as he approached Lucy.

Lucy turned and smiled warmly. "No, not at all. Actually, I'm glad to have some company."

Atsushi sat down next to her, feeling slightly awkward. "You seem... sad," he said carefully. "Is there something you want to talk about?"

Lucy looked at him for a moment, as if considering something. "I just feel a bit lost," she finally replied. "Sometimes, it’s hard to find my place in this world."

Atsushi nodded, understanding her feelings. "I know how that feels," he said softly. "I often feel that way too."

Lucy gazed at him with curiosity. "You also feel lost?"

Atsushi sighed. "Yes, I often feel like I don’t belong here, among the extraordinary people around me. Sometimes I feel like a shadow among their light."

Hearing this, Lucy felt closer to Atsushi. "I often feel like a shadow too," she said with a sad smile. "But maybe, we should learn to see that shadows are also a part of the light, don’t you think?"

Atsushi was silent for a moment, contemplating Lucy’s words. "You’re right," he said with a small smile forming on his face. "Maybe we should find our own light."

In the midst of their gentle conversation, a deep understanding slowly grew between them. Although their worlds were different, there was a sense of similarity that made them feel connected. Lucy, with her quiet yet strong spirit, and Atsushi, with his gentle yet fearful heart, found comfort in each other’s presence.

The day grew late, and the wind grew colder. But on that park bench, two souls who had once felt lost began to realize that they were not alone. That behind every shadow, there is light waiting to be discovered.
