The room was a tapestry of opulence, alive with the shimmering glow of crystal chandeliers that cascaded light like waterfalls of diamonds onto the polished marble floor. Rich tapestries adorned the walls, their deep crimson and gold hues wrapping the space in warmth, while the fragrance of blooming roses wafted through the air, mingling with the sweet notes of music that floated like a gentle breeze. Each note hung in the atmosphere, a delicate thread weaving together the tapestry of the night, as if time itself had paused to behold this moment.

In the center of this enchanted haven, the blue-haired girl moved with a grace that seemed to defy the very laws of nature. Her gown, a cascade of silken fabric, flowed around her like a gentle wave, its colors shifting subtly with every sway, echoing the hues of twilight. As she danced with the prince, their hands intertwined, a palpable energy sparked between them.

Their eyes locked in a gaze so intense it felt as if tinder were being lit on either side of them. The pair’s hearts were beating wildly, and they were both breathing heavily. The song was winding down, the last notes of their waltz lingering in the air, their lips close enough now to be almost touching…

But soon, as if the universe conspired to shatter their delicate moment, a loud thud reverberated through the air, echoing like a clap of thunder in the serene sanctuary of their waltz. The enchanted glow of the chandeliers flickered momentarily, as if disturbed by the sudden intrusion. Ella’s eyelids fluttered open, the enchanting dream world dissolving around her like mist beneath the morning sun, revealing the stark reality beyond the veil of her imagination.

The warmth of the prince's presence faded as her surroundings snapped back into focus. The opulence of the ballroom, the vivid colors of the tapestries, and the sweet notes of music that had once wrapped around her like a lover’s embrace dissipated, replaced by the mundane chill of her modest room.

She blinked rapidly, her blue hair a tousled halo around her head, the remnants of dreams clinging to her like morning dew.

“Cinderella, get up this instant and make breakfast!” The sharp command from her stepmother sliced through the fragile remnants of her reverie like a knife through silk, stark and cold. The voice was laden with authority, an unyielding tone that commanded obedience and brooked no dissent.

The warmth of her enchanting dream world dimmed, replaced by the stark chill of the dawn creeping through her window, casting pale light across the room filled with shadows. Ella inhaled deeply, the air heavy with the scent of aged wood and the lingering aroma of yesterday's toil.

“I’ll be right there, stepmother,” she called, her voice a whisper against the oppressive silence that surrounded her. She could feel the weight of expectation settling on her shoulders like a cloak of thorns.

With a reluctant sigh she murmured under her breath, "Should i have kissed him that night?.. ugh.."
